- Eric has cancer and Sami is helping him without her family knowing.

and

- Sami tries to commit suicide but Lucas stops her

The first one doesn't ring any bells with me, but Lucaslover has a fic called Desperation that fits the description of the second one.

Yep, as are many of them in the archives. Giving feedback when new chapters are posted goes a long way towards keeping an author motivated to write.

I told Sarah a couple of weeks ago that people look for her stories from time to time. She was shocked. Can you believe that? She's an amazing writer. Hopefully she'll find her way back to write for us some more. The Agreement was one of the stories that kept me on the recumbent bike longer at the gym a few years back.
