I guess day 3-- the first day they saw each other on the pier counts. I appreciated the irony of Sami/Mia watching the christening together, with Mia thinking the baby was hers and Sami not knowing that the baby is hers while Nicole plays mommy. Still, I miss the road not taken-- Mia is presented to Lumi for the first time as Will's girlfriend and hijinks ensue. Caroline was a good great-grandma to Will. The "all women are unique individuals" business was amusing. Are those who hate the way Caroline relates to Sami good with the way she relates to Will? Will still tends to try to "fix" anything he can. He joked about Caroline being the one who likes to feed people, but that's Will, too. He was hung up on Mia being hungry and went way out of his way to make sure she got food over her objections. After growing up with Lumi, it's no wonder that Will particularly appreciates someone being upfront about a simple problem that he can help with. Giving a girl a hamburger is a lot easier than sorting through his parent's tug-of-war and blame game. But at the same time, Will calls people out when they're being irrational. He called Mia a jerk to get her attention, then apologized. If only Sami could respond as easily as Mia does when Will points out that she's going down a path that won't help anyone. |
| Do you remember what she told him? She took her lover’s hand, and she said, “just because something is intangible doesn't mean that it's not real.” Lucas, no matter what happens, no matter what we’ve been through, no matter what I say, you will always be in my heart. -- Sami Brady, November 2007 | |

I loved Day 3!!! I am loving every minute of Will and Mia. I never liked the way Caroline was with Sami, but her conversation with Will today was so nice. Funny too with the "don't eat all the fries" and the little looks, she was concerned about him in regards to Lumi, and looking out for both him and Mia. Will loved that Mia eats! LOL. Yay.

I haven't liked the way Caroline treated Sami in the past, but I've been okay with her for the last couple of years or so. I liked Caroline's scenes with Will and Mia and it was nice to see that she and Will appear close. She and Shawn were always good to Will when he was younger, so I'm glad he still has that connection. Caroline even made a rather nice comment about Sami when she noted how Sami always likes spending time with her kids. It is almost like Will got the best traits from both Lucas and Sami, minus their insecurities (well, at least so far). |
