Looks like Li Na is choking and letting Shriekapova into the quarters. Arrrgghh! I'm going home now. I can't deal. I cannot deal.

LOL...I was just coming here to post that. Hopefully the Shriek will be gone after Tuesday. Team Cibulkova all the way! We'll get through this together, Courtni! ;)

What a day. Off to punish myself at the gym and watch the Rafa carnage. Maybe I can time it so I finish on the eliptical just when Rafa won the 2nd set and hopes were high!

“You need a defeat to give value to your victories. It's the end of the road and I have to accept my defeat as I accepted my victories: with calm. I have to stay cool‑headed to try to analyse what I did wrong. I need to learn, and you learn more when you lose than when you win. I need to work on those points where I wasn't good, and from there try and do better for my next tournament.”--Rafael Nadal

Amen- Mama and Papa Nadal should be proud of their boy. He'll be fine, and maybe he'll be more of a threat during the summer with an unexpected vacation he hasn't had in four years.

It figures NBC started their coverage in the second set. It was a long hour on the treadmill! Apparently they want to show MaSha, too.

Let's go Tommy! He's up a set and Roger looks out of sorts/flat, at least at the moment.

Oh my...Ted Robinson and JMac are talking about how the weight of the world is on Roger's shoulders because Rafa lost. Poor baby.

Serena's through easily, and so is Sveta!

Let's go Andy R. (I like Gael too) and JoWillie!

Fed hasn't played five sets in Paris in 8 years. Wow. He really doesn't look right out there today.

Hang in there, Tommy. I hate that I have to go to work! Maybe it'll be over by the time I have to leave.

And there's a break for Roger. Haas has to stay positive, even if he loses this set.

Off to work...thank goodness for the internet!

Haas was leading 2 sets when I left for work but even then I thought Fed would eek it out. He's not gonna get taken down by Haas.

Sveta vs. Serena. Another win-win although I think Sveta has a better chance of beating Safina.

My poor friend found out about Rafa while she wa on the phone with me. I told her don't bother watching the match--it's too painful.

I can't handle all this Federer butt-kissing. Is that my French umpire calling the match?

Dear Tommy,

Thanks for nothing.

Love,
Megan and Rafa

Anyway, the Federer brown-nosing is so annoying and why I won't be able to watch any of the final should he make it there. The only good thing is Tommy showed us again that Rog is vulnerable. Hopefully someone- I'm looking at you, Andy Roddick or Gael!- can beat him before the final. And yes, I think that was your ump calling that match.

They interviewed Serena on TTC after her match, and she said she was angry that Rafa lost! If she's feeling better (she said she is), she's definitely in the hunt. I'd be happy if any of the remaining ladies (except Maria) took the title.

As one of the posters on a Rafa site said, repeat after me: Andrew Stephen Roddick, 2009 French Open Champion! ;)

(Had to wait for my boss to leave, heehee)

I just don't know about Andy beating Fed in the semis. I'm not sold but we'll see how the match goes today. I also don't think Murray's got it in him. But totally agree that Fed's vulnerabilities were showing and I hope someone takes advantage of it (and actually follows through, Tommy!). I love me some J-W but I think Del Potro might have his number today.

But I have accomplished my daily goal of getting mentioned on FO Radio. Maybe I can go for 2.

My boss isn't here yet, so I've been sporadically working while following tennis.

This may be an inevitable coronation for Fed, but I keep hoping someone can beat him to stop it. You know, as much as I dislike his attitude, Soderling could be a wildcard, too, just because he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. If he can beat up Rafa in his house, who knows what he could do? /wishful thinking!

It looks like this might not be Tsonga's day, but so far he seems to be holding his own in the 2nd set. I'm excited for Andy/Gael and hoping for an entertaining match.

Sweet! Another mention on FO Radio. You're a celeb! :)

Yeah, JW is not looking great. Allez Jo! And Allez Gael and Andy!

Soderling is definitely in there but he's got a way to go too. The draw is insane now.

I'm no celeb, merely a catty chatter for them I'm sure. I chastized them for their Fed lovefest. They might not love me anymore. LOL!

Good for you on calling them out on the Fedfest. It was totally necessary.

Yeah, what was up with that 3rd set? Come on, JW!

And Jelena got bageled! Hopefully she can get it together and finish this one out.

Andy/Gael are up after Jelena on Lenglen.

And there goes J-W. He was totally out to lunch.

Cirstea is a fighter, that one. Jelena had some problem with her foot apparently.

Au revoir, JW.

Yikes! Jelena was broken serving for the match.

My boss should be here shortly, so I may have to be scarce for awhile.

I'll try to check in when she heads back to her office.

This Jelena match seems never-ending, doesn't it? Maybe it's because I'm psyched for Andy and Gael.

I'm kind of excited for Cirstea. She seems like a nice girl. But I tend to turn on JJ--I like her but don't love her. She's fun though.

But I am super excited for Gael and Andy.
