The baby switch storyline, could conceivably come to a conclusion this year, or could just as easily not, meaning that Sydney could be a toddler or even a sorased child before Sami finds out that she's her biological daughter. The root of 99% of Sami's problems in her relationships can be traced back to the moment that Marlena & Roman claimed her as their own and John didn't put up a fight.

Let's say, for argument's sake, that it takes a couple of years before Sami finds out about Sydney. What do you think she'll do? Sydney has bonded with Nicole. Will Sami recognize that, and remember what being wrenched from the arms of the only parent she'd known, did to her? Or will she stay silent? Or will she work with Nicole to do what's best for Sydney?

In the hands of a good writer and executive producer (Sorry Dena & Gary, but you kow that's not you) it could be an extremely powerful story, especially if all of the other players were brought back (or at least John).

Thoughts?

And yes, I realize that the circumstances regarding the parental mixups are entirely different (though isn't funny how Stefano knew the truth in both cases?), but the decision to be made about the child involved is still the same.

It's hard now matter what is decided. I remember a real life story about 10 years ago, and for the life of me I can't remember the name of the girl, but she was accidentally switched at birth and the other child died. Court cases when on for years and years and finally she divorced her biological family and stayed with her father. She later ran away and had all kinds of issues. I want to say that the last name was May. Kimberly Mays.

Anyway, I'd love to see and indepth CHARACTER based storyline on this.
