I need to ask you all, how do you keep up the faith and not get frustrated with the ***** fans who support the rapist. I get somewhat discouraged that this is what people want and I just don't get it. Rape, torture, torment, and pain do not equal love. Then I watch lumi fan videos and my faith gets renewed. But I just wonder if the writers will be true to the show or turn it over to the insane. Give me words of wisdom. |

i either ignore them or hang around Lumi related threads/boards its easier that way as far as keeping the faith ive been watching days about 12 years off and on ive stuck around this long i might as well stick it out to see what happens

I talk to people who aren't shipper fans and who don't venture into the online world of Days very often, if at all. They tell me that they haven't forgotten what the rapist did to Sami and don't want to see her with him. That gives me faith that the GA DOES NOT want rapemi. |

Nothing that rapemi fans have to say is going to change my mind about Lumi. They have no issues at all with what EJ has done and consider rape a romance. Do you think for an instant I am going to take them seriously. If Days does, it's going to find itself in a hole it can't get out of. The Genral Audience is not on board with the rapist and his victim and their numbers are great inflated by the hot air they spew. You need reassurance, just watch Lumi together on screen. Nothing else comes close. |

Thanks you guys. I just lose faith in the general public that they would actually believe that rape, violence, torment, torture, and power over someone is equal to romance. Wondering how they can justify and muster up all the numbers they proclaim to have. I just wonder if any of these people saw all the old scenes. How could they think this was cool. Victimizing women is disgusting. |

I should also add that the incident with James Scott in Greenville made me even more determined to keep the LUMI faith. It really bothers James and his drones that we exist, so how can we possibly give up now?

I keep fighting with the rapemis on boards and when I get frustrated I come on here. I also can very easily get lost in youtube videos. Either just old scenes, or great vids put together by amazing lumi fans |

I,thanks to Norma, can watch old clips. I make vids about what it should be like and all the little subtle hints you feel with their interaction now. Lumi just fits and you realise when they are with others that nobody fits like they do. They are like lobsters and penguins. they mate for life. |

I can imagine what kind of response I will get from ***** fans today after posting on nbc, "Violence, torment, torture, and unrelentless power over another is not love. It is disgusting. And because we do not agree with ***** fans or have the same point of view, we are bashed to no end. Gee, sound familiar. The ironic thing, is that no matter how poorly Lucas and Sami's characters are written by the writers, we still stand by our characters. Makes you wonder just how powerful the magic is between Lucas and Sami that keeps the fanbase going even after what they have done to our characters." I'm ducking now and glad that I am a part of a group of fans like you all! |

So true. The drones don't listen to logic or reason anyway. They refuse to accept that Sami doesn't love rapist. They believe she is just denying her feelings, which is completely out of character for Sami. When Sami loves someone, she fights for them. I wouldn't waste you time. You can't show the truth to people who refuse to see it. |

It is hard to ignore all the negative things that are said. I just always have faith that Lucas and Sami belong together and always will. And if tptb don't see that now, they will. Lucas and Sami were meant for each other. All the other pairings are just plain wrong. |

I do things like sport the little frogs in my sig. I make Lumi banners in my spare time and try not to fight with the drones, though its extremely hard not to, especially when some insist on hounding Lumi's. I just came up with a new campaign for the fall, which I will post later on. Its my way of dealing with the madness. As far as the James madness, what goes around comes around. Eventually, his rude bahvior will come back on him. I was dissappointed that there was no apology, but that's when I said "Consider the source" the same thing goes for the sourcettes. The drones behavior will eventually come back on them too. So don't worry and keep the faith. Ignore the drones and enjoy posting, no matter what they say and do. |

I'm vocal at times on NBC and I love it when I just shut them up with the only thing they don't know anything about...the FACTS! They will go back and forth with me and it turns into a bash Lucas thing and I frankly then start to tell them that if the thread wasn't even about Lucas and I didn't bring him up then why do they find a need to and frankly I only tell them that the ONLY reason they find a need to bring him up is because HE is the ONLY threat they see in the horizon to rapemi. Once it gets too heated I don't bother responding because by then the Safe fans have come into the mix and they basically say the same thing I say and frankly Lumi fans aren't the only ones that see rapemance as big issue so do others....and that works well to just shut them up...In the interim...look at old Lumi videos and what I see says it all...no matter what way the write Lucas and Sami in the end they are only themselves when they are together. |

I dug this up bc I need a rant. I am so sick of of Ykw love everywhere's. Seems I can't go anywhere and post in peace , well, with the exception of here. They real the Lumi sections,they talk about the Lumi's all the time, it just gets so frustrating to deal with... |

I remember the love that LUMI shares. Sami is never going to love anyone else like she loves Lucas, and Lucas is never going to love anyone like he loves Sami. That is just the fact. Lumi is meant to be, they just are. I can feel it. And if others want to pretend that their couple has that kind of love when they have never even shown it on screen, that is their problem. There is no real love between Sami and ykw, there never will be. There are just some that see what they want to see. Lumi is meant to be, I just feel it. |

There was one thing that came to my mind the other day and that was only Sami and Lucas purposefully touch one another in their scenes since they have parted. She does not do that with anyone else.

Somehow I think that YKW's fans are confused. They are routing for 4 people in one fan base. They have morphed Ej and Sami into Santo and Colleen and vice versa. Anyway I love that you guys love Lumi they are just a blur. |

Recently I have been keeping up the faith by watching old video and transcribing it to remind me of lumi. I find pictures from those scenes and I like to share with others. I will admit the one thing that made my faith falter somewhat was last summer when they had Sami in bed with YKW. The thought of it still makes me nauseous and makes my skin crawl. The only bright side to that at all was the fact that the scenes weren't as long as any Lucas/Sami in bed scenes and Lucas walking in on them brought Lucas into it, and made it more about Lucas and Sami. I do keep the faith by watching clips of Lucas and Sami together as well as the knowledge that the ratings go up for episodes that have Lucas and Sami in scenes together. If they, the writers, showrunners, can't figure out that Lucas and Sami should be together by those ratings numbers, then I have no idea what would. |

well, I will be sending in a boat load of postacrds and slogans in the mail for Lucas and Lumi. That always makes me feel better. At least then I feel like I am doing something productive for Bryan and Lumi! The more post cards the better... |
