I had seen so many truly horrible reviews for it that I had almost stopped wanting to go. But having seen it, I don't think the reviews are fair. And Sandra Bullock is fantastic-- all the actors are very good.

I would also like too see Twilight's New Moon as well when it comes out on DVD also. these are two definately two DVD's I would love to own I may think of more later but now these two for sure.

Lumi Freshman Posts: 30 Group: All Access Lumi Member #1,461 Joined: November 20, 2009	Over the past week I saw both the Chipmunk movie and Sherlock Holmes thanks to my son and husband. Both weren't bad, although Sherlock was my fave out of the two it was pretty funny. Not that Chipmunks wasn't good just thought the first one was better. Oh and I was forced to watch Paranormal Activity which was ok until I went to bed and heard noises in our room that I've never heard before. Yeah good times lol. I want to see that movie it's complicated, that looks funny there is one other one but I'm drawing a blank right now i'll get back to ya Edited by justamom, Wednesday Jan 6 2010, 01:59 AM.

Lucas and Sami & Edward and Bella Fan Posts: 733 Group: All Access Lumi Member #1,071 Joined: December 26, 2008	i saw Chipmunks and Sherlock also both good in their own way but the first one was definately better it might be called Alvin and the Chipmunks but Theodore totally stole the movie Avatar was good but definately doesnt deserve the fuss its making though now i went to see Up in the air with George Clooney i adore the man to pieces but even he couldnt save the movie for me i walked out during the middle of it it was dragging and so boring cant wait for Alice in Wonderland and of course Eclipse

I saw the 3D promo when I went to see A Christmas Carol in November and was floored by how Wonderlandy it looks. Up in the Air was... strange. I didn't walk out, but I'm not sure what to think of it. It's more commentary than story. I've seen My Sister's Keeper. Not as good as the book, but the girls playing Kate and Anna were excellent.

I know the movie can't possibly compare to the awesome book, but I still want to see it since I never got around to watching it in the theatre. I'm excited for Alice in Wonderland.
