Melanie and Phillip's wedding is a big story in February. It's the match that lights the fuse for a lot of firecrackers that are going to go off, " promises Executive Producer Ken Corday. Melanie/Phillip Wedding: Something very dramatic will happen at the wedding. Vivian has her eye set on destroying Carly's child; her plans escalate and come to a head. Carly makes it to the wedding, but mistakes are made and blame is on the wrong people. It ends in a shocking act of violence. Before getting married, Melanie writes a letter to Nathan telling him her true feelings for him. Meanwhile, Stephanie wants Nathan and takes a turn to the darker side. Hope/Bo/Carly: Hope finds out Carly's secret (Melanie is Carly's daughter), but Carly has one last secret about her child that will change many lives. Bo and Carly continue to grow closer, but how will he react when Carly and Hope are both in danger? EJ/Sami/Rafe: Surprise, surprise -- EJ begins to develop feelings for Sami again. EJ is shocked by this development as it becomes more and more apparent how he feels about the emotional Ms. Brady. Sami and Rafe are together, but EJ's feelings are changing and it will likely develop into a longer story arc. Meanwhile, things intensify when Sydney's bloody clothes are found in the Salem river and she is declared legally dead. However, things are not as they seem -- EJ is the mastermind behind the kidnapping and he's in cahoots with Anna. He wants Sydney for himself at all costs. He loves her so much that he's willing to make it look like her infant daughter is dead? Well I guess by the standard of rape leading to romance, that's gotta be a sign of true love, right? So glad I don't have to watch this crap, and so glad that I still have my stack of RINR cards - cards that will now be going to the advertisers who pay for commercial time during Days. |

Less than a year after Grace's death? Oh, wait. He never got to know Grace, so she never gets to know Sydney. His pain at thinking he lost Grace (who he now doesn't care about because like Syd if she's not his she's THAT) for five seconds is worse than Sami's pain at losing both girls. I'm sure Sami will realize that and decide to love him. |

I agree, so glad I'm done with this show, I see now why they had to get rid of Bry so they could have a Rapemi/Safe triangle!

They kind of remind me of Carrie/Austin/Sami with an extremely evil twist. Rafe is Carrie. He knows that Elvis is bad, but can't seem to make Sami see it. Sami is definitely as gullible and dumb as Austin used to be and Elvis is playing the Sami role, only he's a million times more evil than she ever was. Carrie/Austin/Sami was never a "love" triangle per se, but it was a triangle of out of control obsession. One can only hope that at some point it will be revealed that Sami isn't Sydney's mother, just like Austin wasn't Will's father. |

few things being added EJ has been treated horribly by Nicole, and while his mind says one thing, his heart says another and he is starting to have feelings for Sami again. It's becoming apparent to him, and it shocks him, but they are growing closer. That will escalate when they find Sydney's bloody clothes in the river and she is declared dead. Yeah...the longer story arc is the fact that EJ will turn more and more like Stefano while Sami is stupid enough to think that "he's changed"....and they will grow closer, he will take advantage of this and continue to emotionally torture her, I don't get how some people still follow this pairing after all that has occurred between them but specifically this latest twist. I am so glad I'll be done with this....and frankly I wouldn't care if the "act of violence at Melanie's wedding is a shot and in the crossfire Lucas gets killed"...I know it's unlikely since he apparently has no exit story but boy I would prefer that. |

I don't see any true romantic triangle coming either. I think as soon as Ari gets back from ML, everything will shift again. EJ will stay in the villain role and unfortunately Sami will stay in the moron sidekick role to everyone else. I don't think one fan is going to be happy with where this is all headed... no real romance for Safe and nothing but more stringing along for rapemi. I kind of wish Lucas were being killed off too. Should there be a change in Days administration, he could always return from the dead (as so many Salemites before him). |

This is exactly what I've been thinking. Even more than Marlena, Sami resembles Austin - only without his redeeming traits. (Such as, Austin really did love Carrie, while Sami is clinging to Rafe because he makes her feel like a good girl. And for all his faults, Austin would never have ignored his older children the way Sami does.) Rafe is definitely Carrie - self-righteous, hypocritical, and considered "good" by most Salemites, he can apparently do no wrong. And Elvis has all the negative characteristics of young Sami, magnified by 100, but none of her good traits. Plus, where we'd seen Sami's development and understood why she was so desperate to be loved, the rapist is only interested in getting what he wants, and has no capacity for love. He doesn't ever feel guilty or try to justify his actions to himself - in his eyes, there's nothing wrong with what he does. |

I can do the killing off screen too at this point it doesn't matter really....and as we all know if Days lasts that long and Tomlin is ever replaced and Bry wants to come back then the possibility is there for an emotional return from the dead for Lucas....which are always to me the best stories. As it is now the February sweeps do appear to be stringing along Rapemi (notice how they mention long story arc) while making Ej more and more like Stefano (obsessed with Sami) while giving Safe nothing substancial except trust issues and frankly they have enough of those....the A story is about to shift from the baby thingy to the Melanie thingy. As Kazz stated I think that there are no fans that are really going to be pleased with the direction of any storyline on Days...Bope fans are ticked, Barly fans really have nothing to look forward to, Danloe fans are happy now but with the uncertain future of their couple and how Dan will play into Melanie and Carly's story is to be seen, Rapemis don't want EJ obsessing over Sami anymore, they wanted Sami to come to him and chase him this time and that doesn't appear to be happening, they didn't like the twist either and they are still being strung along, notice the long story arc statement....I see a long drawn out custody battle once Syd is returned...I see Nicole coming back and shifting this story....trying to fight for her and Ej with Sydney, Stefano might play into this...maybe he is the one to fake the kid's death....in order to turn the tables on EJ....it appears to be Tomlin's plan to make the stories excrutiatingly long with no proper payoff for anyone....at least Lucas is out of this now....his character cannot be destroyed to pimp Rapemi, Danloe or any other sick pairing. |

I'm still not convinced that they aren't actively trying to kill the show. That's why they've resorted to all of their "last resorts." Get rid of Lucas Break up Bope Turn Sami into Austin Kill off one of the longest running characters on the show and don't bother to give him a proper funeral. Shove Safe & Rapemi down the viewers' throats. Put Melanie on every single day and have multiple guys lust after her AND make her the long lost daughter of characters in 2 other storylines. Focus on Mia & Chad Put the Passions people front and center and have them on every single day. Oh and make at least one of them be Melanie's best friend. Keep the most talented performer off screen. (Okay, okay, so Ari's on mat. leave, but still, the timing must have made GT gleeful). |

Not to mention that at least Sami had some excuse for her behavior...she was brutally raped as a teen and stripped of her innocence. That alone can make all sorts of good in someone go wrong...that is what Sami was back then....she was a vulnerable, messed up teen who's self esteem was shot after Alan's rape and the only way she "comforted" herself was trying by all mean necessary to make someone love her. Elvis is an adult, sociopath who as you stated has no capacity for love. He doesn't love his children, doesn't love anyone but himself and frankly we all know he won't go to jail for this either.....something tells me that they are truly trying to sabotage this show....that is my only explanation....You can count on one hand the amount of people that are on the show still that were there 5 years ago....the rest are all newbies....and it's sick. This is why I don't get how they couldn't keep Lucas and write a good story for him...but decide to keep Abe, Lexie, Theo, Caroline, Roman? I can see Roman...okay, Sami is around she needs her dad...but Abe, Lexie and Theo? Why? are these actors already on recurring status? If not, I can't see the need to keep them when they all can go sail away together and not keep Lucas when he has 2 kids in Salem, a mother, brother and part of one of major families in Salem. Are they really going to tell me that Abe and Lexie have more of a following than Lucas? Yeah right. |

You know what I want to happen to this sick sociopath EJ who is still pathetic as ever I want Karma to comeback on him and be a heartless cold cruel uncaring unbending with nonstop punishment and nonstop torture and cruelty and nonstop pain and suffering that is just for him that is 1000's worse for him in life and in death where it never stops punishing him and won't yield and that is will keep on repeating for him over and over and over again where he is never happy and he lives in constant fear of it where it winds up being a cold heartless witch to him nonstop and doesn't let up. Lets see how he likes it being locked in freezer truck with no help in sight and is near death or dies and noone cares enough to get him out, lets see how he likes being shot and put in coma and having his organs stolen from him,lets see how he likes it being strapped to a table and electrocuted and tortured nonstop and have someone laughing behind him, lets see how he likes it being chocked and manhandled nonstop and being close to being dropped off a building and is, lets see how he likes it being drugged and chloraphormed constantly and being told hes going to die and does and has someone inject his IV where he winds up dying for real, lets see how he likes being chocked and constantly manhandled nonstop where someone gets violent toward him where his fate is 1000 times worse and lets see how he likes it and has everything he did to everyone done to him and is 1000's times worse where he winds up living in fear of it and that it happens to EJ where he is constantly punished and everything is done to him that he did to everyoneelse and it doesn't end for him and he is constantly tortured and is constantly in pain and his suffering is exscruciating. Its going to catch up to him one of these days and Karma that is and a real cold cruel heartless one will find him and will punish him and do to him what he did to others and it winds up being 1000's times worse for him and winds up being nonstop may then he maybe just then he will finally learn his lesson and by the time he does it will be too late its going to keep harping on him and haunting him in life and in death when where he is constantly punished and is constantly in pain and constantly suffering like noone ever has suffered before where hes winds up with nothing and is constantly suffering. He never did pay for his crimes and he never did feel remorse for them and never went to jail for any and all of them and he will wind up being punished when Karma dishes out to him what he dished out to others only this time it will be 1000's times worse for him and him alone. Criminal drug lord your day of judgement is coming and will come for you and will sneak up on you when you least exspect it to and make you pay for everything and Karma the cold cruel heartless unwavering kind will punish you and make you live in fear of it when it does come for you and believe me it will. Your day is coming EJ and you will be punished for everything and you won't be escaping Karma any longer and it will make you pay. . EJ does need to be punished since hes never paid for anything hes done yet and never felt remorse for anything and has litterally escaped everything and has been sitting fancy free far too long with no punishment in sight. I hope Karma the really cold cruel heartless kind with no remorse comes back upon him and I hope that he is punished and punished some more and it all comes back to hit him all at once and Karma hits him hard if not harder his time is coming and Karma will not be kind to him and will be flat out cruel to him as well for not paying for his crimes and feeling not remorse and for causing constant pain and suffering and for ruining other peoples lives. Sami will wind up with everything and EJ will be punished and Sami will still learn a life long lesson not to trust the Dimeras and that they are the enemy and always will be. EJ will be punished excrutiatingly and the day he is the day I will truly smile and know then that justice will be finally served for the pyschopathic criminal at long last. I know that sounds cruel but EJ does need to be punished and what better way to do it then to have everything hes done to everyone that hes tried to kill or hurt be done to him but its a 1000's worse for him where he winds up in constant pain and truly suffers over it nonstop and maybe just maybe he will finally learn the lesson he needs to and feel the pain the fear and suffering the others felt when he put them through this constant misery where he winds up with nothing and is cursed for life and destined to wind up alone for good with nothing but pain and constant suffering for him in the wake of it. I still am not watching this story and wish that Lucas and Sami were back once more as a couple and were getting many more wonderful and special memories to share together and I hate that we won't have Lumi any longer and truly wish they would be brought back. I will be happy the day I see EJ punished at long last like he should be and will tune it to see just that if it one day one of spoilers winds up being in the spoilers that EJ is punished and truly suffers and suffers some more where he winds up with nothing and is punished nonstop where he has everything done to him that he did to others. Those would be the days I would tune in to see EJ's constant pain where he is learning his lesson and living in constant fear of Karma and the punishment its dishing out to him. For whatever reason, they are determined to reflect Carrie/Austin/Sami, and there is no way in hell that Lucas could have played the Carrie role because Lucas & Sami could never be as mind numbingly insipid and boring as Caustin were.
