Will suggests they sneak out the back for a little 'thank you for the necklace' smooching. Phillip and Lucas watch them go. It's a holiday for quite a few provinces on Monday, so they must have sent the feed early. That's good, because I plan on watching the Olympics opening ceremonies tonight (they start at 5pm, MST) and wouldn't have time to do clips anyway.

Lumi Ph.D. Posts: 5,484 Group: Lumi Enthusiasts Member #133 Joined: March 24, 2006	Sounds like another wonderful Lucas episode and Mia is right Will did inherit Lucas romantic side from his father she thinks that Will is a romantic at heart thats awesome and Will got Mia a necklace thats really swee Lucas is a romantic at heart to. The Lucas and Mia scenes sound really great and I can't wait to view them. I wonder if Lucas and Will won't have scenes together after all I can't wait to watch this and to tape this and to talk about this episode when it airs Thanks for posting the link to this episode for we all truly appreciate it. yeah we get more Lucas and we haven't gotten to the Lumi episode yet but that should airing sometime next week as well and this is day 6 that we get to see Lucas again and I am glad to see him again and to see him interacting with Will and Mia and shortly Sami too I can't wait to see this Lucas episode.

Yeah, I'm planning on watching those too...I always love the opening ceremonies for the Olympics...I wonder how they are going to bring in the torch, via ski? Anyway..you're not in Vancouver Norma right? if you were I can imagine how busy it would be by you? I also heard that Vancouver was having a rough time getting snow? Isn't that ironic...DC, NJ and NYC got 2 storms that dumped about 46" in 4 days...but Vancouver can't get snow...lol

I was scratching my head the day they were selected for host of the Winter Games, 7 years ago, and I'm still skeptical about it now. Whistler, where the downhill events are, has plenty of snow, but Cypress Mountain where the snowboarding is, has none. It should be interesting. And no, I'm in Edmonton, which is in Alberta, the province just east of British Columbia.

Well, who can keep those pesky Lower Provinces straight? Apparently the Vancouver area has had the warmest January/February since they started keeping track of temperatures. Meanwhile, areas that usually don't get snowed in are dealing with the Snowpocalypse. Go figure, huh. 2+ weeks of constant Olympic coverage coming soon!

That is just beyond bizzare... Yes, Feb. 16th is Mardi Gras day. Two of last night's parades were postponed and one was cancelled. The news is predicting that the snow will clear after today so the rest of the parades for the weekend and early next week are still on. Everyone is joking that hell really did freeze over when the Saints won the SuperBowl.

It was a great game and their fans would have been happy with them even if they lost - just because they managed to even get to the SB at all - but to win! It took a couple of days to sink in that it really happened. Did you know that a "Lombardi Gras" parade was held in the Saints honor when they made it back home? Parade floats from 10 different Carnival krewes were used - over 800,000 people attended, including every high ranked official in the State. I'm sure Indiana would have enjoyed adding yet another win to their history, but for N.O. & La. this was something no one really expected to ever see happen and it is the first time in my life that I remember having the national/international spotlight on us for anything positive.

I am an Acadian from Nova Scotia (so they are "cousins" with the Cajuns). Where in La. are you? :))) SNOW tho - omgoodness..that is crazy. Just VERY cold in Ottawa (Ontario) today, but no snow falling, so on ground but it is hovering at freezing for the next 14 days or so.

My family is spread out across the southern part of the state, some in the Lafayette area, some N.O., some B.R. I lived a short time in N.O. and much of my childhood on the outskirts of N.O. I got my undergraduate degree at Southeastern in Hammond and worked there at the start of my career. HorseSpirit, yes there is definitely a feeling of kinship between the Acadians in La. to the ones in Nova Scotia. I would love to visit one day. One of my nephews now lives in Albany, NY and I'm determined to turn a visit to see him into a longer one and make it up to Montreal at least. Another part of my fascination with Montreal is that I'm a huge Leonard Cohen fan (finally got to see him in concert this year).
