Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson), Patsy Pease (Kimberly Brady), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) and Lisa Trusel (Melissa Anderson) are all reportedly returning to Salem. "Most of them aren't coming back for just one day," says an insider. "Some will appear in a few episodes." Frances Reid (ex-Alice) passed away on February 3 and Digest reported exclusively that the show had big plans to bring a slew of stars back to say good-bye. I just hope that when they air Alice's funeral, they do it over a couple of episodes and have the class to keep characters that never actually interacted with her off the shows (ie, the Hernandez family, Elvis, Melanie, Mia, Chad etc.)

Since Kim & Kayla will be in town, and Shane will be around, they really should consider bringing back Josh Taylor as Chris Kositchek. (with it being St. Patrick's Day today, I couldn't help but think back to the days of Shenanigans)

They'll only do that if they're willing to acknowledge that Lucas is gone from Salem. I don't think they are, plus I doubt that Sami will be able to stop boinking Tomlin's pet long enough to notice that Alice has died. I'll be relatively pleased (Days lacks the capability to make me actually happy anymore) if we get a couple of good Jennifer/Lucas scenes and maybe a Lucas/Mike scene as well.

Lumi Senior Posts: 509 Group: All Access Lumi Member #1,326 Joined: April 8, 2009	Yeah, all three actors that have played Bill - Edward Mallory, Chris Stone and Paul Carr (very briefly in'65 or '66) have all passed on. But Tom Atkins (he was in Halloween 3) looks a lot like Chris Stone. I'll bet he could pull it off. Tommy can't come back because the only actor that played him (John Lupton) died in '93. He hasn't even been seen since '79. They're not finished negotiating, they better ask Dee and Drake. The only problem I have with the returning cast is that to me Roark Critchlow was the worst Mike Horton recast. I much preferred Michael T. Weiss. But he went on to the Pretender and mostly does plays now. I saw him in Impressionism on Broadway last year. He's still hot!!!! But being an old time Days fan I have to say when I hear Mike Horton, I still think of Wesley Eure first. How's that for old school?

I'm hoping he'll go off and do some film and then come back and bring back a lumi storyline. As per the returns for Alice: I think her decedents are important Julie and Doug - absolutely crucial
