This is a story of my own creation Permission to archive granted to Second Chances Author: Rose Editor:regina Lucas had just made it to the airport when an unidentified woman dragged him into the Ladies’ Restroom. Lucas was looking at the woman while she put a sign on the bathroom door. The sign read, “Out of Order.” The woman looked a few years older than he was but she was still very attractive. He didn’t know who she was or what she wanted from him and then the woman stopped him from wondering when she put her hands on his shoulders and said, “Hello gorgeous I saw you walking through the airport with no wedding ring on and I thought maybe we should do it one more time for old times sakes.” Lucas felt awkward not knowing what to tell her and than he started to speak “Look Miss” just then the woman stopped him abruptly and replied, “You act like you do not know who I am.” “I don’t know who you are” Lucas replied. The mysterious woman started talking and said, “I would get it if you do not want to be with me again, but not knowing who I am? That I can’t believe. You don’t remember me, ME? My album is on the top 100 Billboard list.” Lucas looked confused and tried to remember this woman but couldn’t. The woman dammed him and spilled a bottle of liquid soap all over his clothing and quickly stormed out of the restroom leaving Lucas in a confused haze. Sami was in the airport waiting area buying herself a cup of coffee while waiting to her flight when she saw a person who resembled Cherish storm out from the women’s bathroom and bump into her knocking the coffee cup all over Sami’s shirt. “Oh god its you! Its the last thing I need, one of my stalker fans following me around!” Cherish ran away and it left Sami looking at her shirt tainted with coffee.- Lucas took a look at his clothes full of soap he could not believe that the stuff got all the way down to his underwear. He took off all his clothes while quickly looking for clothes in his suitcase. He noticed a beautiful blonde woman enter the restroom. Sami entered the women’s restroom despite the sign on the door stating the room was off limits. She needed to clean her shirt before the coffee stain set in. She looked up and spotted Lucas completely naked. Although she was relieved to see he was okay, her mood shifted very quickly and she started getting angry and was ready to spill all her wrath out on Lucas, “I can’t believe you” Just then her cell phone rang and she stopped to pick it up. She knew it needed to be something important and she had instructed everyone not to call her unless it was an emergency. To her surprise it was Philip on the phone. “Sami, remember our conversation last week about Lucas?” “Yeah, I remember, but you know he’s alright.”“How did you know that?” “He is standing right in front of me in all his glory.” “Did you say anything to him yet?” “No, why?” “Whatever you do, don’t say anything to him.” “I don’t get it, why not Philip?” “Listen to me. I came to see my mom today, a few hours ago who do I bump into that my own brother Lucas. It seemed odd really, as I knew that he wasn’t in Salem, but something is wrong with Lucas, I’m not kidding you.”Philip recalled his brief encounter in Salem with his brother and noted that something was off, immediately. “ What are you doing here?” ”I am Lucas Roberts, Ms. Roberts’ son and I came here to visit her.” Philip found it odd how Lucas was acting, as if he didn’t even know him. Philip decided to make a few calls and found what happened to Lucas. A few weeks ago Lucas was hit by a drunk driver hit his car at a very busy L. A. intersection. He was never in danger of losing his life but HE had a few head injuries that caused him to have memory loss. The hospital called for the only person he remembered, guess who that would be?”“You are right, my mom. Lucas was still working in the same work place but few people knew his last name because he had just started a few weeks before. Apparently mom paid the few people that did know his last name to keep that quiet or not divulge the information of who Lucas was. If anyone came looking or asking anything about Lucas personally they were instructed to say that there was no one employed there by that name.”“So then she was the one that sent the emails and letters. How about the short messaged on my answering machine? Maybe she recorded Lucas’ voice and then edited the message just like she did with Daniel and Chloe.””Right! that had to be it. Sami, whatever you do, do not say anything to Lucas until we talk to his doctors and ask about his condition and know what to do okay?”Lucas looked at the blond woman that had entered the restroom and seemed to want to yell at him until her cell phone rang. He immediately put some pants on and kept looking at her as she was still on the phone. He could not take his eyes off her. She was the most beautiful woman in world. His heart was beating faster and faster since she entered the room. He noticed she wasn’t wearing a wedding ring, which would signify that she’s free. He wished they would have met differently because now, he was in the ladies restroom and she saw him all naked. If he told her what actually happened and why he was where he was it would sound so unbelievably lame. He wished he could tell her what had just occurred, that an unknown crazy woman claiming that he knew her would drag him into the ladies’ restroom and when he told her he didn’t remember her, she got mad at him and spilled soap all off his clothes and that she entered the restroom just when he had taken all his soapy clothes off and was trying to change into something out of his suitcase. He had promised himself that until he remembered his past he wouldn’t try dating again, but there was something about this woman that he knew he would marry her on spot if she wanted .Sami pretended to still be talking on the phone while she tried to think about her next move since she couldn’t tell anything to Lucas about his past without talking to the doctor’s she didn’t know what to do now. She tried to observe Lucas when he was not noticing. She started to wonder what was wrong with him? Why Lucas and why couldn’t he stop staring at her? Did the accident cause other head injuries other than the amnesia? Lucas stared as the blonde woman seemed to have ended her telephone conversation. There was a bit of silence and then Lucas started to talk. “Hi, listen, I do not want you to think I am some kind of pervert or weirdo.”Sami in a rather sarcastic tone directed her answer at Lucas, “Of course you are not a pervert, I wouldn’t think of that, you simply have a habit of getting naked in a woman’s restroom.” “I know you are not going to believe me but some woman dragged me in here.”“Sure, and she ripped your clothes off and everything right?” “I know it sounds like a lame excuse but she spilled soap all over my clothes.” Lucas smiled and picked up his dirty soapy laced clothing and showed it to the beautiful blonde woman interrogating him. “She said that she was mad at me because I didn’t recognize her, something about her album being on the top 100 Billboard List. She was furious and then stormed out of here after dousing me with soap.”Sami looked at her shirt full of coffee and said, “Oh, Cherish!” Lucas looked at Sami and said, "I can see you were also a victim of her, so now you believe me right?" "Yes." Stated Sami in a reluctant tone. "By the way, I haven't introduced myself, my name is Lucas, and your name is?" Sami hesitated and she didn't know what to say. She knew she couldn't say anything about the past because he is in contact with Kate. She couldn't give him her real name or any other names of people they once associated with. Lucas saw she was a little reluctant to give her name. "If you do not want to give me your name it's alright you know." Sami answered quickly without thinking, "No, it's fine, my name is Magen Smith." The airport loud speaker came on announcing the final boarding call of flight 413 from Salem to Los Angeles. Lucas heard the announcement and couldn't believe he was about to miss his flight, he would never be able to make it to the gate in time to catch the flight. In retrospect, Lucas was glad he had missed the boarding call as he didn't want to catch his flight. When he came to Salem his plan was to be here a few days to visit his mom but when he saw her she seemed too busy to even care to spend some quality time with him. Kate made Lucas promise to get the first flight back to Los Angeles since she couldn't spend time with him but after meeting the blonde woman he had a feeling she would help him if he asked. It was also a perfect opportunity for Lucas to snoop around his mom and see what she was hiding from him. Lucas realized that if he played the stranded traveler the blonde woman would be more likely to help him or hopefully even offer him a place to stay overnight or something. He knew there were more flights to LA and the next one likely left three hours from now but he wanted to play the part to see if she offered. "You lost your flight, ha? What are you planning to do now?" Sami knew that there was another flight he could take in a few hours but Sami didn't want him to go, she needed him to stay here as it would be hard for her to track him down if he left to LA again. She needed to think of a way for Lucas to stay as long as possible. "I don't know anyone here and don't know the neighborhood." "Do you want me to recommend of any hotels here for you?" "You would do that for me? Thanks, but if you wouldn't mind I don't want to stay in Salem but on the outskirts of the town. I only have one connection to this town and I promised that person I would get on that flight I just missed, you know I don't want that person seeing me around town." "Sure, no problem you can go to Green Mountain Lodge, if you want I can show you right now how to get there." "Thanks, I really appreciate it." I absoluely love that history is repeating itself and that this time Sami got to see Lucas naked once more not in a dressing room when they first met but in the women's bathroom tehee that must have made Sami smile deep down inside when she couldn't stop staring at Lucas in all his glory and was staring him down enjoying the view while he was changing his closes when she went to change her shirt after cherish had spilled Sami's coffee on her and that Sami walked into the women's restroom without knowing Lucas was in there changing his closes after cherish spilled soap all over him and not noticing the sign that was on the door that Cherish put there. I loved that Sami wanted to get mad at Lucas at first but didn't when Philip called her and explained that Lucas was in a car accident and got Amnesia. I love that even with Amnesia Lucas is attracted to Sami already even though he can't remember her and that he already wants her to one day become his wife already and even though he can't remember Sami his love for Sami who is the love of his life is coming through already for its that strong. I love that Sami doesn't want Lucas to go and that Lucas knows even though he has amnesia that she will help him out which Sami is. I can't fault Sami introducing her self as Megan Smith for Philip told her not to tell Lucas anything but Lucas will remember Sami on his own but right now he has amnesia but at least Lucas knows hes in love with Sami already and that one day he will ask her to marry him and he will seek Megan Smith or in this case Sami out again for hes attracted to her already and in love with her already he knows what she looks like already. I love that Lucas thinks Sami's beautiful. I love this story and love everything that happened in this chapter and can't wait to see what happens next and where you go with this story for this story is really awesome so far and very intreging and you got me all excited about this story and I can't wait to read what happens next. This is a truly awesome story Rose and I can't wait to see what happens next. Welcome to the world of fanfictions.Your story is truly awesome and I can't wait to read what happens next for Lucas and Sami for this story is really awesome and truly rocks.
