Not sure if this would go here but it seemed more appropriate than "Looking for a fic" since I'm fairly sure they don't exist anymore. I was looking for something old but good to read the other night and remembered 2 of my favorites from waaaaay back on the original Lumi Forums. The titles and authors are long gone from my memory but:

I think Sami somehow had ended up hiding the the closet of an old abandoned house and peeking out as a killer (Austin or Brandon? I'm thinking Austin but I may be wrong) was in the process of killing someone - Greta? Anyway, he leaves and she sneaks out and ends up running into Lucas who falls through the floor into the basement. Sami ends up going down to help him because he's injured his leg and hey find Carrie's body.

I also remember one where Kate had Sami kidnapped and held hostage in some park. Lucas finds out and goes after her, saves her from some gun toting men who end up chasing them through the wilderness. They disapear into a cave behind a waterfall where they eventually climb up and out with the two men in hot pursuit.

Anyone else remember some of those old classics that aren't around anymore? The Sting was another of my favorites but as we know it's still here :)

Not sure about the first one. It seems familiar, but I don't think I've read it in years.

As for the second one, I'm pretty sure you're referring to Erica's Desperate Measures

Okay, yeah. That's it. I'd forgotten Lucas originally kidnapped her. The first one I know definitely was lost after Enemies/Love Story went down. A lot of good classics. I'll have to go back and read Desperate Measures. Don't recall seeing it for years - maybe this should have gone on the other page afterall :D

Amazingly enough - I found it - part of it anyways. It was called Love and Hate, When Two Become One by PrimeLime written in 2000. Gosh, I've been around a long time. Found Chapter 1 of Angel of Mercy too. Anyways, I feel accomplished now that I finally have a piece of that long lost, elusive fic that I remembered somewhere in the back of my mind!

lol, that title sounds familiar. I used to lurk at Enemies, so I probably read it there.

I recognize the name of the author, vaguely recognize the name of the fic. Don't know if I ever read it.

But eeeeeeeeeeeee!!! You found the first chapter of Mercy? Wow, I can't believe how long ago that was. I remember one day I was thrilled because Julie was getting new chapters up in the fanfic section, and a few days later, the site was just... gone. :blink:

LOL Yeah There are a scarce few of mine that were up there that I never actually put up again because they were SO BAD. I still have them hidden away to remind me of how bad I was:) I love that site. It's fun to just "see" the old place was there:) Hadn't looked for it in years and years thoughh.

I remember that fic well-- I really loved it, even though gore/horror aren't usually my thing. PrimeLime also wrote a ficlet that has stuck in my head, where Will had died so Lucas and Sami killed themselves in each other's arms.
