I used to live in Ohio and saw LeBron when he was in highschool and he was so amazing. I understand some people don't like him because of the hype but he's Ohio & Cavs chance at a championship, I really hope they go all the way. I like LeBron, he's pretty amazing but my fave player is Mike Bibby, he just plays ball and for the most part never has any kind of negative stuff going on. I'd love for him to get a championship but not sure the hawks can go all the way but I'll always root for Bibby.
I'd like hawks or cavs to win however if someone else is in the playoffs playing the lakers I'd root for the other team everytime unless it's the Magic of course, hate Dwight Howard and the magic.
This might be his last chance at a championship with the Cavs and maybe a chance to stay with them....you know what I'm rooting for....I work in NYC....(HElloooooo Nicks!)......
LeBron has a good supporting cast so I think they have a good chance this year. I dont' know if I'd say it's his last chance, It hink as long as they give him a good supporting cast he'd stay in Cleveland but time will tell I guess.
The Nicks! (6) Sorry, but no chance that'll happen, they need better talent in order for that to happen.

Well, the Knicks DO have enough salary cap room to hand out two max contracts this summer. Chris Bosh clearly wants out of Toronto, and seems like he'd enjoy playing with LeBron...

Seriously, if I had to bet I'd say LeBron would stay home and re-sign in Cleveland. But the salary cap not going down as far as it was expected to helps New York a lot. If they sign two young max players, other players will be lining up to take less money for a shot at a title and the greater exposure of a huge media market. That happened in Boston three years ago... they were awful and no one wanted to come, and then they pulled off the KG/Ray Allen trade and suddenly all the best free agents wanted to come to Boston and play for free.

Speaking of KG, nice win by the Celtics last night.
Do you remember what she told him? She took her lover’s hand, and she said, “just because something is intangible doesn't mean that it's not real.” Lucas, no matter what happens, no matter what we’ve been through, no matter what I say, you will always be in my heart. -- Sami Brady, November 2007

One of my friends knows Mike Bibby. She met him in high school basketball camp years ago in Phoenix. Bibby used to attend Shadow Mountain HS.

I meant this year for a championship for NY, I hope LeBron stays in Cleveland. I think he will if they win a championship

I like this alternate reality where the Celtics and the Suns are both in the conference finals!

I know nothing about NBA basketball, only that my countrymate Steve Nash plays for Phoenix, so I guess that's my dog in this show.

That is my son's favorite player Norma, he's read up all about him, Nash use to play soccer first before basketball and that is why he's so fast, he upped his speed and endurance with socceer and it helped him with his basketball.....and I have to say that my kid predicted that the Suns would make it to the finals and now they are in the semifinals....I am really hoping for them to pull ahead and stomp out the Lakers....I love the underdog....Go Suns!

I liked Steve Nash from the moment I saw him playing for Team Canada in the Universiade Games in 1993 and then later in Sydney for the 2000 Olympics.
He's received a lot of accolades up here, not just for his sporting ability by for his philanthropic work.

You can't go wrong rooting for Nash. That whole team is fun... and the Los Suns jersey thing made me like them even a little bit more. Even if the Suns knocked off the Celtics in the finals, I couldn't be upset because I really want Nash to have a ring.

(Don't tell any of my neighbors I said that.)

I would love that as well cuz I hate the magic and the lakers! ;) I'd really love for the suns to win cuz I'm a Grant Hill fan and Nash is great as well, he's a warrior.

So..... How about those Lakers?

I know, I know...we shot too many free throws (we did miss half of them), but Kobe had a horrible game and Ron Artest kept us going (oh the irony).

Love the Lakers

The game was horrible last night, Kobe was off his game, couldn't shoot a basket but they won because of the team as a whole

Go Lakers

Congrats, Lakers fans.

I'm totally crushed today.

Actually Ron Artest kept them in the game until Kobe heated up in the fourth quarter.

But you really you can't hate the Lakers for winning. The game was clearly in the Celtics hands, it was theirs to win or lose. They were ahead and the Lakers were shooting poorly.

I don't believe in "great" coaches in the NBA. Everyone they mention has a clearly superior player and a good supporting cast. And of course in the case of the Celtics in the 1960s a great supporting cast. Phil had MJ, Scotty, Shaq (when he was dominant, now does not count) and Kobe. Like Kobe or not he's a great player. Red Auerbach had Bill Russell, Bob Cousey and John Havlicek. Pat Riley had Magic, Kareem and James Worthy. Heck, I could coach those teams to victory.

The great ones are always subject to hate and jealousy. We're used to it. :D

It's not so much that he's a great player, I admit that he's good, I hate his cockiness and his character as a person is not to be admired in my mind but again just my opinon. I've always hated him and the lakers so I don't see that ever changing.
