So, I decided last week that I'd start recording ATWT this week since it's entering its final stretch, and it's a show that I still care about. It airs on Global immediately following Days. I knew that with the upcoming rapist shooting, I'd be recording Days in the not-so-distant future, so I decided to set my dvr for 2 hours and record both shows. I tried watching Days tonight, I really did. I haven't watched an episode since the memorial, but I figured the rapemi wedding would provide some laughs, if nothing else. WRONG. They spent the entire episode dragging out Rafe trying to tell Sami the truth about the Sydnapping. Gary, Chris and Kenny, the storyline is already a year too long. Is it really necessary to turn every minute into an hour??? Sami wouldn't shut up and let Rafe talk. I just wanted to gag her. (Lucas would have grabbed her and kissed her until she shut up. THAT would have been entertaining. Obviously Rafe wasn't smart enough to try that, and the giving credit where it's due, the writers were smart enough to not have him try it either. It's Lucas' move and only Lucas'). Chloe, Daniel, Carly, Melanie, Stephanie & Nathan - they're all unbelievably boring, somebody please rescue Philip from that bunch before he gets sucked under with them. The only good part of the show" was Kate and Stefano. The rest was horrible! I'm amazed that Days can even pull a 1.7 with this crap. That said, I've waited over 4 years for that oversorased rapist to get what's coming to him, so I will continue to watch for the next couple of weeks. It is nice to finally get some payoff. |

Norma, that description sounds exactly like the current storylines that were happening in the tribute episodes. It's like missing months of a show and picking up right where you last left off. I thought the same thing then, that Kate and Stefano were the only part worth watching... and yes, poor Philip. |

 Norma you had me rolling. But even your commentary can't possibly get me to watch this mess. It sounded so excruciatingly painful I don't know how you did it, but I commend you for making it through. As for the Lucas comment, yeah he would have grabbed her and kissed her. Glad they didn't have Rafe do it. It would have been a total rip off. When ykw gets shot I just might watch that episode for its comedic relief. |

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking of watching to see Roman handcuff Sami, and get a better look at Will's attitude, but sounds like it won't be worth it. |

I don't remember seeing Roman handcuff Sami, but I may have missed it. There were times when I got fed up and hit ff'd. Roman did have one line that I thought was funny (and true): "What ceremony? Frozen pizza takes longer than it took you to put this thing together." |

Hilary, I guess Norma was watching the Tuesday epi as it airs a day ahead in Canada, at least from what I gathered from her synopsis. I have to say I caught a bit of the US Monday epi last night, and I must say that Will's 'here we go again' attitude was hysterical, and him texting during the wedding, priceless. Roman had an 'out of Roman' experience as he actually popped out yesterday and there was some good comic relief in there when he came in and announced he was there to arrest someone and Stefano automatically assumed it was him, when Roman said told him it wasn't the rapist jumped and assumed it was him, once again Roman said no, he wasn't there to arrest him either, then Kate made a comment and he told her that he should arrest her, but he was there to cuff Sami...lol...that was good...and Elvis babbling on and on about how his kids made him change...uhm.....you used one of them as a pawn you idiot! I can't stand that man. |

Ah, that makes sense now. I haven't even been reading the day ahead previews, so I have no idea what went on before the Tuesday episode. I'll have to look up clips on youtube. |

Haha love Roman's one liner about the frozen pizza, LMAO!! At least it's good to know that Sami's family isn't buying any of this nonsense. I like the sarcasm coming from all sides. That is one thing Lucas would have definitely brought to the table but glad to see Will stepping in and assuming his dad's role in this farce. And Will texting during the wedding is priceless! Hmm...do you think he might have been texting Lucas explaining to him that he's missing another one of mom's non-weddings? That would have been hilarious! |

Will's smirk yesterday so reminded me of Lucas, it's at times painful to watch and he was rather funny in his manerism yesterday when his mom was 'once again' getting married. Roman's moments were good though, and I can't take the stupidity coming from Sami now, I just want someone to take her and kidnap her out of her own wedding...damn Lucas where are you when we need you. |

Roman handcuffed Sami in the monday epi (US.) It happened pretty fast and was really over before it should have been and ended with Sami convincing her father to stay for her "wedding." Will texting has a TON of rapemi's ticked off. Last night NBC posed a blurb about the wedding on the Days facebook page and several of them commented on how "rude, annoying and downright wrong" it was to have Will texting. I hate to tell them but that is what NORMAL teenagers do and Will is a normal teenager. And it serves a storyline purpose, he's texting Gabi who calls Rafe and leaves a message for him to call her. He calls her back at the pub she tells him that Sami is getting married RIGHT NOW and he rushes out leaving Nicole alone with an incompetent FBI agent who is supposed to be watching her but is more interested in his pizza hence Nicole sneaks out. Rafe hadn't made it by the end of Monday's epi. I'm watching but only because I want to see the end of rapemance. I do agree with Norma though they are dragging the whole thing on, I think at this rate it's going to be next week before she finally hears the dang CD. |

I do agree with the rapemi fans in that texting during a wedding is normally considered to be rude, but it's far worse to have a rape victim marrying her rapist, so I'll give Days a pass on texting etiquette. I do, however, wonder if they feel the same way about stars who sit on stage at fan events and text  |

Having not watched Days in a couple of months, one thing was VERY clear to me while watching. RAPEmi is not the rooting couple. If by any chance they were intended to be at some point this past year, that time has passed. It's clearly SAFE's story, and while I don't care at all for SAFE, at least they don't make me want to vomit. Anyone who is still under the impression that RAPEmi is the endgame ::waves to the skanky housewives and stalkers:: is completely delusional. |

omg, the Will stuff was hysterical! I actually watched yesterday and I loved Will. I wasn't paying attention to the scene, I was watching him in the background. His facial expressions are great, just like his dad's. And I can really related to Will here. Being a teen and not wanting your mom to marry a dick. Let's just say I thought Will was very respectful and reserved to what I would have done... |

Well that would be a wonderful sight to behold and one I would truly watch watching Lucas if TPTB would bring him back kindnapping Sami from her wedding which I'm sure she won't mind at all for she was just using both any way as a rebound untill Lucas returned and once he does anyone and everyoneelse would become comepletely invisible for they wouldn't exsist and only Lucas would once more and we all know she still loves Lucas too and misses him very much as well and would respond to Lucas kissing her saving her from not going through with an upcoming wedding that she didn't want any way unless this was with Lucas and that she shouldn't be going through this without him the man she really loves and still wants to be with for good this time and have him saying that hes really the man she wants to marry and wants to be with and still loves and that she wants this with him instead with her saying that she agrees with him completely and that she doesn't want to marry anyoneelse but him and Lucas would stop the festvities before they start. I would love to see something like that happen that for Lucas and Sami where Lucas kidnaps Sami from her own wedding that shouldn't be taking place in the first place and lets her know that he still loves her and he misses her and we see her responding to him by kissing him back and then they both get into it where they both start making out like crazy where they can't get enough of each other and Sami is so glad to see Lucas back from Hong Kong for she truly missed him and truly missed kissing him which leads to more for Lumi for they are a passionate couple thats for sure or they could have a mini argument which leads them into making out but the main point is that Sami doesn't go through with her wedding and winds up leaving with Lucas instead and that would make for an awesome Lumi episode and would make for a new Lumi beginning for sure where it leads into lots of love and romance and fun and family times for our Lumi once more. What a way for Lucas to make a reentrance back in Sami's life. I just want next week to get here already for even Wednedays episode reading it is really dull and this reveal stuff is just so bla and boring with Rafe and this reveal it has no umph in it all. So the real fireworks will begin next week with a certain up coming event that I will be able to cheer Sami on for doing. I miss Lucas for Lucas made the show exciting and interesting and made me want to watch everyday we need Lucas and we need for the show to be made interesting again so I am really hoping that TPTB bring him back for hes truly needed and if we get some reveals soon about Johnny and Sydney too we will need him back by then for sure. LOL yeah Sami's BS "vows/speech" yesterday was probably the worst part of the episode. I just wish they wouldn't move so slowly and drag this thing out for a week like you know they're going to. |
