In this week's SOD, Executive Producer Ken Corday gives a preview of what's coming up this fall. He expects ratings to go up because of the faster pace and because "we're giving the viewers more of what they've been asking for in the past few months." Sami/EJ/Rafe/Arianna - After the failed wedding, EJ becomes even more distraught. He is suicidal and drunk, and he eventually passes out. Sami then comes over and shoots him in the head. Corday says "she is not a killer, but she comes unspooled. It's temporary insanity." She tells Rafe, but EJ doesn't remember anything. Arianna finds out the truth, but is hit by a car before she can tell EJ. There will be another big beat in this story in November sweeps. Hope/Bo/Jennifer - Corday says that his happiest beat is the return of Jennifer. She will be a much needed friend and support system for Hope in the upcoming months. She will be central in getting Bo and Hope back together, and will also be the catalyst for a major Bo/Hope story that will last through the end of the year. Vivian/Victor/Maggie/Brady/Nicole - According to Corday "There are many layers here, and it's a huge mystery." Brady will uncover Vivian's plans to entomb Maggie. He is furious over what Vivian has done with his mother's body and her memory. There is an "incredible" twist, and Brady and Nicole will bond as they keep Vivian at bay. Meanwhile, Victor and Kate discover that Vivian is being held captive. Carly/Daniel/Chloe/Stephanie/Nathan/Melanie/Kayla - Stephanie is determined to find out who switched Chloe's paternity test. Kayla returns to confront her daughter because she knows something is making her uncomfortable. Stephanie comes clean about everything. Nathan tells Stephanie that Chloe cheated, and Melanie overhears. Chloe reluctantly admits it, but doesn't tell Melanie that it was with Philip. Daniel and Chloe prepare to get married, while Kayla tries to find out who really switched the test. Says Corday, "...you won't believe who it is. The way it sounds is that Ken Corday wants Sami and the irrelevant one to be enemies for good this time for he wants it that way where Sami is out to destroy the Dimeras for good this and get rid of the Dimeras for good this time and won't stop untill she does. As I was saying in the other thread the thing that will turn the Sami and Rafe story on its head in November will be Lucas so maybe just maybe our Lucas/Sami/Rafe triangle is coming after all. |

I'm confused by the groupings in these spoilers. I thought the fall quad would consist of Sami/Rafe/Ej/Nicole, not Arianna. But it seems that's not true? I thought Nicole would be involved and that Syd's true maternity would come out. Have they dropped the ball on that? Nicole is involved in the Brady mess but not this story when we have been seeing clues for months that may point to Syd being hers? Come on writers don't drop the ball on this please!!! Also what is this other big deal coming up in November? Could it be what we are all hoping for? Or could it be that Nicole is being brought back into this story after Arianna dies and then Syd is revealed as hers? I just don't know what to think now. |

Wow Rafe must really love Sami if he's quitting his job for her knowing she and Will are suspects. That is very sweet even though I am still not a Safe fan and will never be. I don't care if they make Rafe into the most wonderful man in the world who sacrifices everything for Sami, that is not going to make me want Safe over Lumi. Sorry TIIC but it's not going to work. You can't just bring in some random nice guy and make him into Sami's hero and expect us to be ok with that. We want Lucas and Lumi back, period. I will take Lucas and his wonderfully complicated self over perfect Rafe any day of the week. I will only accept Rafe as the temporary place holder in Sami's life but NEVER as her man. So unless you are planning on bringing Lucas back for November sweeps, I am still not buying what you are selling. |

I think you are right...it's either Sydole or Lucas...one of the two...or Brady driving drunk killed Arianna and that affects Nicole's story somehow....but I think it has more to do with Will and Sami being on the short list of suspects for Ej's shooting... |

I know!! I mean come on since when has Lucas not been involved in any story regarding Sami & Will?? That's his son and the mother of his son for crying out loud, why the heck wouldn't he be involved? If he's not the big November Sweeps surprise, I will be VERY disappointed. I can even handle the Syd reveal being postponed a bit if it means we get Lucas back. If it's only going to be one or the other, I will go with Lucas because I just want him back!!! They better bring him back because there is absolutely NO excuse not to. |

If Lucas is brought back again since the viewers want him and Sami and want to see Lumi reunited for good they will have to stop making Rafe what he is now and if Lucas comes back this definately won't last for Sami and Rafe it won't stay like this once Lucas returns for Rafe is a placeholder fill in for Lucas for now untill Lucas returns and once he does Sami will definately wind up dumping him for Lucas. For Lucas is already all these things and more something that wannabe Rafe will never be. So It wouldn't surprise me if Lucas is brought back again that Rafe does something to betray Sami somehow. There is only one Lucas and hes the real deal he will wind up being Sami's real hero in this and will get Sami and Will out this jam and he will be the one who gets them off the hook not Rafe and Rafe will turn on Sami somehow someway in a drop of a dime. We have yet to see Rafe's real true colors come out and once Lucas returns they will. When all is said and done and Sami will wind up hating Rafe and be truly greatful to Lucas for fighting to save his family where hes the one who winds up protecting his family from the Dimeras instead of Rafe for Rafe will be rendered completely useless and Lucas will be the ture hero in all this and will be the one to save his family from these charges and will wind up protecting his family by not letting the Dimeras get near them when all is said and done and wind up keep both Sami and Will safe from the Dimeras for its Lucas job to do this not Rafe's. Rafe just sticks out like a sore thumb and just seems out of place and just doesn't fit in. Rafe is not family and he never will be. While I may not like that Rafe is trying to be a Lucas wanna be which he'll never be anyway I do know that if Lucas got brought back Rafe would not stay in this mode for long at all and wouldn't stand a chance against Lucas Sami's one true love and the the love of her life so I'm just waiting for Rafe to show his true colors by betraying Sami somehow in someway in this relationship after all. Now what he does do to do it I don't know yet but Rafe is going to do something to mess this up and will wind up betraying Sami somehow and after he does Lucas is going to be the one who's there for her for like hes always been before and he will be the one whos truly there for Sami when things fall apart. Which in Sami's realtionships they always do they do tend to fall apart in someway or another for something will happen where Rafe will wind up doing something to betray Sami somehow. Thats just my gut instinct on this that Rafe will not stay with Sami and will wind up leaving her or do something really huge to betray her. So I'm just waiting for that crack in Rafe's armor to start showing soon if Lucas is indeed returned to the DOOL's canvas for it will once Lucas return. I'm just waiting patiently for Lucas to be returned to the canvas for good this time and praying for that to truly happen and praying that a Lumi reunion will happen after all and praying for Rafe to do something to mess this up which we know he will if Lucas is brought back for good this time that I'm sure of. |

omg, these spoilers actually sound really good. Like, if they keep rapemi apart, I'm watching daily. I love that Brady and Nicole are grouped together.  I'm really excited to see where that leads.
