Originally it was written that EJ was supposed to meet Nicole on the pier and try to strangle her, but Scott says that’s not what they did. He says it was changed because “I said it was f---ing stupid. You can quote me on the f---ing part.” It says that it was silly and not necessary for many reasons. “Ken Corday gave quotes about he wants EJ, Sami, Nicole and Rafe to be leading storyline on the show. Then two of those people are in a situation where try to kill each other? It just puts you as an actor in a corner. It puts the character in a corner.” Instead, EJ gets really angry with Nicole. He’s drunk and takes his frustrations out on her. He threatens to kill her, but he does not touch her. When EJ gets home, he tells Stefano he is thinking of taking off with the kids. He feels he will lose custody when everything comes to light, so he can either take them now or lose them later. He recognizes that he has lost. Scott says, “Look at EJ’s life over the last few years. It’s pretty miserable, isn’t it? He has a relationship with his father that’s pretty unhealthy. He can’t seem to have a relationship with a woman that isn’t a disaster, whether it be his fault or their fault. And the man hasn’t had sex in 15 months. It’s got to be tough.” Scott says that EJ doesn’t go through with his suicide plan. He puts the gun to his head, but he can’t bring himself to pull the trigger. He passes out, and then Sami comes in and shoots him. Scott sympathizes with Sami’s position. After Kate tells Sami that he is leaving with the children, she believes she is shooting a horrific person. Scott doesn’t believe that anyone deserves to be shot like that, though. He believes EJ deserves to face some consequences but thinks the gunshot to the head is disproportionate to what EJ actually did. However, Scott is happy with the story because it is unexpected. “For 14 years of whatever, Sami was a raging bitch. Now she’s all sweetness and light?” He commends Sweeney’s work, but he would rather the homewrecking Sami be on screen than the homemaker Sami. He believes she is more compelling. “To see her picking up a gun and shooting EJ in the head? It’s like ‘Yay! Good for you. Old Sami is back.” Scott also discusses his drastic haircut. EJ will be having brain surgery due to his shot to the head. Scott says he insisted on shaving his head. “Whenever you do storylines where people have leukemia or brain cancer or whatever it is, and you see them in the hospital with a patch on the side of their head, it’s ridiculous…pathetic. It doesn’t matter how good an actor you are. I can’t act that I’ve had brain surgery unless I’ve got no hair. So I was absolutely insistent on that.” He says the first time he saw it, it was only half done and he looked like “one of those monkeys that are bald in the middle and long all around the sides.” However, once it was done he liked it. The one thing I liked about this is that JS seems to support gun-ho Sami G instead of Samanther Jean and gives AS her props for her acting skills.

Lumi Masters Posts: 4,315 Group: All Access Lumi Member #133 Joined: March 24, 2006	Its sounds like Sami and the irrelevant one are going to be enemies for good this time which is the way it should be thats the plus to this story Sami will do everything in her power to destroy the Dimeras for good this time and and not stop untill she does and will always see him as the enemy for good this time and her holding on to Rafe reminds me of what she use to do with Austin sort of but who will be the one who will turn the Sami and Rafe story on its head and stir up old feelings that never left in Sami to begin with Lucas she can't deny it for Sami still loves Lucas for she would rather be doing what shes doing with Rafe now with Lucas instead and shes not over Lucas and never will be for hes the real deal so if Lucas is our surprise for November bring on Lucas. No one listened to your little tantrum about not wanting EJ to strangle Nicole because that is exactly what happens - he does touch her, he puts his hands around her throat and squeezes until Daniel makes him stop. So get over yourself.... and stop pretending that you know anything at all about Sami! By your own admission you don't even watch the show now so you damn sure weren't watching 14 years ago - you know nothing about the real Sami so shut it!

Defender of all things LUCAS Posts: 2,717 Group: All Access Lumi Member #1,542 Joined: May 21, 2010 Lucas & Sami are destined to be together again someday	Sami may have been a bitch for a long time but the difference is she had a whole lot of people rooting for her anyway! She may not have been the golden girl she has turned into now but even when she was the villainous underdog, she was still LOVED! EJ is pure and utter EVIL, there is no mistaking that! And no matter how many times Sami tricked Austin to the altar, he still never wanted to shoot her dead because she didn't deserve that. EJ is a lying, manipulative, rapist bastard who deserves to be shot in the head and he deserves to die. Too bad Sami couldn't complete the deed but at least she tried.

First Sami when she wouldn't comply and then when he tried to strangle Nicole while they were married. He also shot John and tried to kill Lucas. Scott doesn’t believe that anyone deserves to be shot like that, though. No EJ should have been lit on fire 4 years ago DUH!

So JS is ONCE again critizing the writing and cursing them off....nice job James...keep going.......no one has to do anything but sit back, relax and enjoy this show now. Oh and James...can you please explain how you know who Sami Gene is if you haven't watched the show (by your own admission)....please...I'd like to hear it. I think he knows his days are numbered.
