The week starts out with an official reunion with Rafe. She's thankful to him for helping her with EJ without an expectation of a reunion. She tells him that she can't let him go without him knowing how much he means to her and how sorry she is. He grabs her and kisses her, and says "I love you, and it was always you." They go back to Sami's place for romantic reunion. Then Kate calls. Kate's call to Sami about EJ leaving with the children pushes Sami over the edge. Sweeney says that Sami is freaked out because she knows everything EJ has done and that he is capable of disappearing with Sydney and Johnny. He has the manpower, the money, and the lack of conscience. She sits and stews about it, but she doesn't tell Rafe. She knows that he has a clear sense of justice and rules, and she doesn't want to put him in a position where he would do something to get himself in trouble. She believes he's done too much already. She slips out of bed and goes to the DiMera mansion. She finds him in her room, passed out, and reeking of alcohol. Sami has never seen him undone this way, but she still sees him as a threat. He still hold the cards and she doesn't see him as weak to her on any level. Sami loses it as she remembers all the things he has done to her and what he's capable of. She has had the opportunity to kill him before, and didn't take it. She's not going to make that mistake again. "I don't think that it's a cold, calculated murder in the true sense of the word," Sweeney says. "It's an act of passion. She isn't thinking straight. She's acting out in classic Sami fashion. She shoots and asks questions later. She walks out of there with the gun still in her hand. She's numbly just going through the motions. I don't think she even knows it's real." She throws the gun off the pier, and then begins to think "what have I done?" Sweeney is looking forward to finding out, and thinks this new story is different, but fun. She cares about Sami and finds it hard when people don't see the character the way she does. "I truly believe that people can be driven to do the unthinkable." After shooting EJ, Sami goes back to bed with Rafe. Sweeney says that Sami really loves Rafe and wants this life with him. When Rafe proposes, Sami takes that as a sign from God that she did the right thing. She believes she won't have to live the rest of her life under EJ's thumb. Sami recalling all the bad things the rapist has done to her is a GOOD THING!!! I hope this means she also remembers the rape and every single time afterwards that he tortured her and her loved ones. Yes Sami you did do the right thing and you no longer have to live in fear of this monster!! Still wish you could have really killed him but you tried so kudos to you!!!! I know that Rafe makes you happy right now and that's fine but one day the true love of your life will come back for you Sami and you will not be able to deny your true feelings, not even to Rafe. But for now YOU GO GIRL!!!!

She remembers all the nasty things he did to her and her family and your right shes not remorseful about this at all she knew she had to stop this monster one way or another from taking her kids and she did the right thing here by shooting him to stop him from taking her children. It sounds like Ali is saying that Sami wishes she had lit that match along time ago where she wishes he had burned up in that cabin Go Ali for we wished Sami would have done that too let the match burn with him inside passed out covered in gasoline. So glad to see our Sami Gene back in action once more. Sami has always been a passionate person but its been known from the start that she didn't want him and that she didn't love him and that shes always been in love with someoneelse. Nothing say hate and enemies for good this time with no remorse in sight for doing it then shooting him her bully and the monster that raped her in the head to stop him from taking her kids. Good for Sami for doing what she should have done all along by shooting him to stop him from taking her kids good for her and Go Sami Gene. They don't have her remember about the rape well that stinks for they need to do that too along with having her remember the other things he did as well in the last four years. Sami did the right thing here and thats all that matters and shes going to protect her kids and keep them away from the Dimeras. Lets hope Sami puts a stop to Stefano's trying to influence Will as well. Sami wants to have a happy life I don't blame her but that life simply isn't with Rafe and she will realize this very shortly that the time she was the most happiest was when she was with Lucas and the kids. Those Lucas memories and thought of Lucas will wind up consuming her and wind up coming up very shortly for her thoughts won't be on Rafe they will be on Lucas instead. Lumi Masters Posts: 4,315 Group: All Access Lumi Member #133 Joined: March 24, 2006	I just had a weird thought here what if Rafe is Lucas and has been all along and he was undercover for the FBI all along and recruited to help bring the Dimeras down after all with Sami doing the same for good this time and he wasn't in Hong Kong afterall and hes wearing a Rafe mask all along. If this is Lucas after all and he didn't go to Hong Kong he needs to take off the Rafe mask hes wearing now for we miss seeing his face. Is Rafe actually Lucas in disguise and if so that would be really wild and definately something different that noone saw coming. We need Lucas back and Lumi back for good this time and Rafe needs to go bye bye. Lucas pillow cases are we sure Lucas isn't already in Salem and hes wearing a Rafe mask and was undercover all along and if so he needs to take it off for we miss seeing Lucas face. Hey I'd take anything that would bring our man back. I'm not crazy about Sami staying in Lucas's house though because isn't that the home he bought for Chloe? Anyway, I know the show wants to try and erase Lucas's memory by trying to make Rafe into Mr. Wonderful but it's just not going to work. Nothing against Galen or Rafe but he's in the middle of a situation that he doesn't belong in. This is Lucas's family and this should be Lucas's role and just because TIIC are too stubborn to admit they made a mistake by writing Lucas out and trying to shove Rafe the superhero down our throats doesn't mean we are necessarily going to buy it. The longer they have Lucas stay in Hong Kong while his son and the mother of his children are prime suspects, the more nonsensical it looks. But if they are planning to bring Lucas back for November sweeps then maybe they do know what they are doing after all. Who knows at this point?
