She realizes that she has an amazing cover because the person who’s giving it a) is totally trustworthy and b) thinks it’s true. So, in some ways, she totally feels safer because of that, but also completely bad for using Rafe to cover for her and taking advantage of what a good person he is.” Just as Sami starts feeling she might be off the hook, Kate accuses her of pulling the trigger. “Kate kind of confronts her and says, ‘I was the one who called you and told you EJ was going to kidnap the kids. What did you do?’ And Sami plays it cool and says, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ So there’s a little bit of cat and mouse. She is suspicious of Sami, but Sami doesn’t give anything.” When EJ takes a turn for the worse, Lexie reveals that her brother left Sami in control of his medical decisions. “Sami is floored,” says AS. “It never occurred to her that she would be in this position. The shooting was very heat of the moment, very traditional Sami. It’s not like she thought it through; she just did it. Now the idea of being in charge of his medical well-being is a different set of circumstances and not one she’s prepared to handle.” While debating what to do, Sami sits by EJ’s side in the hospital room. Then, he opens his eyes. “He stares at her and she totally thinks, ‘He knows it’s me,’” says AS. “It’s not all entirely rational. She’s going through a lot of, ‘This is what I have to do to protect myself,’ type moments and also, ‘Oh, my God. I tried to kill the guy I almost married,’ type moments. She’s spinning.” Things get a whole lot more complicated when Will reveals that he saw her at the manse that night – weapon in hand. “She thinks she has Kate under control and with Rafe’s alibi, she’s made, and then all of a sudden, Will comes to her,” previews AS. “He says, ‘I heard you yelling and I saw you leave there with a gun in your hand,’ and she totally flips out. The sight of Sami at the hospital after EJ’s shooting causes Stefano to blow a gasket, and he accuses her of pumping a bullet into his son. “This whole thing is devastating to Stefano,” explains Joe. “Elvis is his last son, the guy to do some of the business he has left. He takes this very hard. I have a couple of pretty heavy scenes that they wrote, when Stefano’s not sure if Elvis is going to make it or not. He kind of breaks down. Then, of course, the underlying thing becomes that Stefano is going to break open the world until he finds out who did this.” So why does Stefano zero in on Sami? “The way things played out at the wedding, with Sami finding out the truth about Sydney’s kidnapping, Stefano starts putting two and two together,” explains Joe. “He doesn’t have absolute proof, but his instincts take him immediately to Sami. He knows she’s behind this madness and he turns on her.” And how! “Stefano calls her a whore. He has actually called her a whore a few times, “ chuckles Joe, noting Stefano “grabs Sami’s engagement ring and points out that it didn’t take her very long to go from one man (EJ) to this other jerk (Rafe).” Mascolo explains that insult is added to injury when Stefano realizes Sami has the power to make EJ’s medical decisions. “It’s a source of disbelief for Stefano,” declares the actor. “As far as he’s concerned, he’s EJ’s father. There’s nobody else who should be making these decisions. And he’s right.” Stefanos’ vendetta against Sami only strengthens when Abe lets slip that the gun used in EJ’s shooting is the one kept at the DiMera mansion. “The gun was locked in a desk. The only people who could know it was even there were people living in the house. And Sami was living in the house,” points out Joe. “She’s to blame for half the stuff that happens, anyway. Stefano just has to prove it!” Oh, you mean like when Franco being shot with the gun that he'd given Sami "proved" that Sami had done it - because nobody knew Lucas knew about that gun? This time, nobody knows the rapist took the gun out himself. Except, of course, it's mirrored, so Sami did actually shoot him, but is not (at this time) being charged....

And I love that Sami is not one bit concerned about the rapist, only about herself and whether she will get caught. LOVE IT!! She's probably thinking "damn, why didn't he just DIE?" Oh and Stefano, Sami's been called every name in the book before so your petty name calling isn't going to do anything, lol. Your rapist bastard son deserved to have his brains blown out.

So much for rushing to his bedside to comfort him.....and regretting her actions....she is actually there to make sure he DOESN'T make it, just like we thought! Man I really see an in for Lucas here...and I'm not just seeing things....Will isn't a stupid kid, but he's going to need help conceiling the truth and who better than his father to guide him from far away for now, but LUcas won't let his kid do this alone...I bet.

There had to be a reason why we got 2 Lucas mentions this week which included Will actually talking to his dad on the phone and filling him in on what happened. And it's also interesting about how Lucas apparently immediately accused Stefano. And now we know Stefano will be personally accusing Sami himself. He just has to be involved in this somehow. And now that Will is protecting his mom with her secret, come on!

Sami is just using Rafe as a rebound guy untill Lucas returns and once hes back Rafe is history,Sami wants Lucas and Sami loves Lucas and shes waiting for Lucas to return hes all these things already and more and Lucas means the world to Sami for he is her everything he is her one true love, the love of her life and her soulmate and cofidone and the one who keeps her secrets he is her best friend and partner in crime and the one she confides in most. Once Lucas returns Rafe will be dumped for him or Lucas will become jealous of Sami and Rafe and will do what he has to insert himself back in the mix again and will sabatoge a date or two even a wedding if he has to to tell Sami he loves her Sami will be so shocked even left speechless for once and it will bring tears to her eyes. She'll be touched and left speechless once more. Once Lucas is back and he and Sami are reunited once more Sami will never let him go ever again she made that mistake once by walking out on their family and their really happy marriage and shes never going to make that mistake ever again shes learned her lesson and she not going to do that ever again not this time and this time she doesn't.
