If/When Lucas Comes Back; How will he fit into the show?

If that's the case, and given the latest twists and turns of clarification in the storylines, how and when would you like to see Lucas fit into the show now? I'd love to have him come back to be a friend to Sami, being her voice of reason, her confidant, her encouragement as she finally walks free of her rapist, and keep his love for her obvious to us but oblivious to her, ie sexual and romantic tension that they do so well, all while she's trying to throw herself into settling for her "safe" relationship with Rafe. I'd like to see him be right in the middle of Stefano, Will and Kate, playing a big role in a huge arcing storyline, dramatically snatching his mother and his son away from the Dimeras. Or I'd like to see him team up with Philip, maybe something to do with business... an adventure or mystery storyline that puts the two of them front and centre for awhile. So many ideas... I would like to see him secretly smirk when he finds out that Sami is the one who shot Ej.. If Bry is not already filming, it's pretty obvious Lucas will be back sometime. None of the other off screen characters are talked about as much as Lucas is. Usually if they begin to mention a character no longer in Salem-they come back----they have never really ever Stopped talking about Lucas, have they? All this is so exciting and I'm very hopeful that we might all be getting a very happy surprise sooner than we thought!

I know it's greedy to ask for multiple characters as once, but with both Lucas and Jenn returning, and a new actor pulling off an unexpectedly great performance as Bill for Alice's funeral, it's the perfect time. If Bill and Lucas share concern over Kate, they might finally find enough common ground for a relationship. And that would give Jennifer something to do other than worry about Bope and cheat on Jack... she may love Lucas, but probably wouldn't be wild about Bill/Kate round 2. Throw in Philip's reaction and you've got quite the fantastic mess!

Well...piggy backing off Hilary's suggestion of the Horton foundation....isn't Victor about to open up the Mickey Horton Foundation?..if Maggie needs help running it, she may want to recruite Lucas who has successfully run businesses in the past and is currently 'doing a fantastic job running Hearth and Home from Hong Kong'.....so let's say he does that for work....then spin a business story off that somehow....have someone frame him for embezzling money from the foundation and Lucas runs to Sami for support, she believes he's innocent and they investigate and prove who has been trying to frame him, while this is happening they spend more time together and Rafe sees it and becomes jealous (triangle forms). I would also like to see Bill back to help Kate get away from Stefano when he finds out that she actually called Sami to warn her about Ej running with the kids...and her call triggered Sami's reaction, that plus withholding the Chad lie and we got trouble in Casa Dimera. Bill can play a role here also, helping out, or he can work in the hospital again, whatever but both Bill and Lucas can really be there to support Kate when the crap hits the fan. There are so many possibilities for a Lucascentric story and even a bit of Lumi in it....and if I was TPTB I would really go with something that is proven to work instead of keep gambling Days away.

Also yes, NuBill was fabulous and I would love to see Lucas develop a relationship with his father. We've been so used to Lucas/Kate for so many years that seeing him interact with his dad would be a nice change.
	Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall Sami is Lucas's girl through it all.

Lumi Ph.D. Posts: 5,486 Group: Lumi Enthusiasts Member #133 Joined: March 24, 2006	Oh I like all these suggestions expecially about the one where Sami believes in Lucas and is working with him to help him out which eventually leads to more between the two of them when Sami is working to prove Lucas innocent in something he didn't do top that off with Lumi agnst and them dreaming about one another again in really hot and sexy fantasies about each other which obviously leads to more with our Lumi where Sami has decided she wants to break up with Rafe after spending more time with Lucas and you have a hit. In the new triangle I want to see a Lumi reunion come out of it where Lumi reunite once more and Sami dumps Rafe for Lucas and once she does and they start a new then with Love and romance,fun times laughter,the breaking of another bed and being all over the place making out where they wind up making love once more for they truly missed one another and its been a long time . The show needs to go all out for our Lumi and give them as much love and romance as possible along with more fun times and family moments together,laughter,smiles, along with another uniterupted really beautiful wedding where they wind up getting married once more and this time it winds up lasting for good. Throw in a adventure for the couple as well where they become paranormal investigaters something exciting along that line with a really great uninterupted honeymoon,and them finding a house together for them and their kids and having Johnny turn out to be Lucas son after all and showing Lucas bonding with Johnny will be really cute as well. Having Sami watch Lucas and the twins playing together with a huge smile on her face for that would be a really cute scene with Lucas and the twins playing together as Sami watches them together.

We're just speculating that if Corday and Tomlin realized they were wrong, but didn't really want to admit it, they'd just start having him come back and tape episodes without letting the word out. Then they'd probably try to sell us on the idea they were "resting" the character and they always intended to bring him back.

Whether that's because he's been taping recently or is going to be taping soon or is just part of her refusal to say "goodbye" to Lumi is something that only time will tell. I am hopeful because she's had 9 months to start thinking of him as a former castmate, yet clearly doesn't.

I know I wasn't wAtching it but tuned into it bc Bryan cane back in June, then I stayed watching bc I want to see Chloe get burned bc she's such a slut lol and now I'm starting to like Stephanie and Nathan and even Melanie lol but no where near how I feel about lumi haha

I am continuing to watch because and ONLY because TPTB have so far been smart enough to have Sami finally acting in character again. I plan to continue watching so long as the real Sami Gene Brady continues to grace the screen.

I started watching again on the day of the reveal because TPTB leaked the epi that she would should Ej the week after....and I'm a firm believer that Bry will be back one day soon, I don't know if it's now or in 6 months but I have a hunch and every day the story turns into a possibility for a Lucas' return.

I usually am online on this site 95% of time its truly addicting to want to look at some of the threads if not all of them more then once and post in them more then once. Yup I am definately here 95% of time lurking or posting unless I go somewhere or am busy at the moment or wind up going to bed otherwise I am here all the time and never leave this site I love it here and everyone is great and truly have fun posting here with everyone on the board. I'm a die hard Lumi/Bryli fan Posts: 4,524 Group: Lumi Advocates Member #1,459 Joined: November 13, 2009 Lucas & Sami The Best of Romances Deserves second chances	i hope he comes back real soon..i want him back on days again..i miss him so much.. i miss the good ole days so i watched someof my old VHS tapes with days episodes yesterday and i was so lost in them that i forgot all about the time cus the storyline were so good..just like it was back then when i saw then on tv and back then i couldn't wait for the next episode..and now i watched from lumi/days christmas to when Roman "died" and after breakfast im gonna watch from when Sami want Lucas to spend the night with her cus she don't want to be alone after her father died... so my "today show" will start with the ticklefight i have my old VCR and my VHS tape ready so i can watch it again...im also gonna copy it to my computer at the same time so i can clip it and upload it later..
