I was surfing youtube and came across some really good promos These were right after they brought Lucas back. Lumi was not a romantic couple but you could definitely see the sparks. This is how you do it. When Lumi is done correctly they shine. Heck, even their arguments are worth promos. Wondering what the real Sami looks like: Lumi Argue (features real Lucas): |

Wow...in contrast with the promos on Days today, they really did a heck of a job then pulling into that week....Lumi was on the way alright, and that was still many months away from the cut throat epis...but boy it was written everywhere....I loved that Nurse Deb thing....because frankly it showed 'for real' just how jealous Sami got. |

You know what I love about these promos. They immediately show Sami's interest in Lucas even when she's with Brandon. How cocky yet smooth Lucas can be. And they show Sami, full on spunk-- her throwing fits and all. But most importantly, how much of a draw Lumi is. These aren't even two of their biggest fights, but they promo'ed them. |

And I remember how hilarious Lucas the playa was back when he was picking up one random girl after another while Sami was obviously in his brain the entire time. Lumi were so cute even when they were fighting. And Sami was SO jealous of Nurse Deb, lol. |

She was so unhappy with playa Lucas. And hated Deb because she stuck for a good bit. Didn't she give up when she realized Sami and Lucas's thing for eachother? Sami needs a good dose of cocky, smirky playa Lucas. Put some of that spunk back in her. She really enjoyed his swagger. That never changed through the years. I enjoyed her jealousy bit with Denise too...remember her? She was a bit upset that Denise and Brandon knew each other but her jealousy really came through when she saw Lucas and Denise playing 'family' with Will...ooops! I also liked the layover girl....I can't remember her name but remember that scene at the bar where Sami tries to screw up his date only to have Lucas talk his way out of it....lol... here is a video I made with some classic Lumi jealousy and flirting scenes, Ah...these were the times: |

Ah these were some classic scenes! Loved the jabs Lumi took at one another. It was pure denial of course but still great to watch. Lumi banter was much better than anything we are seeing now, especially Safe. Watching these scenes makes me realize how boring Safe truly is. I remember watching Lumi's interaction back then and not even noticing that Brandon was even in the room, lol. If Lucas was back and we got to see Lumi this way again, I'm sure Rafe would cease to exist too. The guy truly doesn't stand a chance. I think the flight attendant's name was Angel. But I wasn't sure at first if that was just Lucas calling her that. And I remember Denise left for good after another one of Lumi's fights. She was a smart girl because she knew there was something going on. And didn't Eugenia have a thing for Lucas too? |

Lucas and Eugenia went to the carnival once but it was mainly Eugenia crushing on him. Lucas was just doing his usual playa thing. I remember Eugenia was extremely jealous once Lumi became a couple and I think that really motivated her to team up with Kate to break up Lumi. That and she lost her job at the hospital of course. |

Yeah...I remember it as pretty one sided on Eugenia's part...but Lucas was the ever popular bachelor in Salem and well you know.....playa! That is what I loved about Lucas' character, he was faithful and loyal to whomever he committed to, but when that imploded...BE CAREFUL! |

Thanks! I didn't remember the carnival thing. Now it's ringing a bell. He was all about making Sami jealous. ah, those were the days of true supercouple romance. I miss that. |
