so how many times since hes left, has he been mentioned on the show...i just noticed they did it today, it was vivian mocking chloe, and she mentioned that she loved Lucas, and last week will was talking to him on the phone, and nathan has mentioned moving out of his house, so how many other times has he been mentioned, and how many more times will he be mentioned? i say we keep track ladies lol just for some fun |

Kate got a call from him while looking at Chad's birth certificate. Will called him last week. Daniel mentioned him yesterday while talking to Sami about pulling the plug. Nathan moving out of his house was at least a month ago, maybe more. |

LOL well I missed the Vivian one but I've kind of been tuning her out much like I tune out the rapist when he's able to speak. The old Viv was fun to watch but I have missed most of her return and I only caught the first 1/2 of the show today since I had to take the kids to speech therapy. Although I did tweet about the fact that I'd rather have her with her old sidekick, Ivan, than this new Gus guy. Gus is boring, and Vivian needs a sidekick who compliments her. I did laugh though when he called her "madame" as that's what Ivan used to call her. |

I am more and more confident that they will bring him back. They are purposely mentioning him so much. I just hope that when he does come back that he is heavily involved in Sami & Will's story. I know Lucas deserves a story of his own too but they tried it before with Chloe and it didn't work. Lumi just needs to be connected in some way. It worked in the past and it will work again. |

Even Jennifer (who has been reported as returning) hasn't gotten as many mentions as Lucas recently. I have a feeling that any news about Lucas/Bry returning will be kept quiet until it happens. Off-screen characters don't usually get mentions this often so it could very well mean something. |

I completely agree. Even though the news of Jennifer's return was well received because she is definitely a fan favorite, the fact that she is returning without Jack is disappointing to say the least and I'm not sure that there is much of a story planned for her other than getting involved in Bope's mess right now. So mentioning her name would be kind of pointless. But on the other hand, any news of Lucas's return would have a much greater impact especially now and that is why the Lucas mentions are so important. With the predicament that both Sami and Will are currently in, there is no one else on earth that these two need more than Lucas. He is Will's father and Sami's soulmate no matter who she is engaged to at the present moment. And he has always been the one person that both Sami and Will have been able to count on pretty much all of their lives. Temporary substitutes like Rafe come and go as has been proven in the past (i.e. Brandon) but Lucas will always remain constant and that will never change. If there ever was a time when Lucas has been sorely missed and needed, that time is most certainly NOW. I think TPTB might be realizing that. |

I have also noticed that Lucas is not far from the minds of his fellow characters. Very interesting, very interesting. I think that Lucas is mentioned more being off screen now than he was when he was on screen. |

There is another mention of Lucas in tomorrow's episode (9/14). Chloe mentions Lucas to Stephanie. Interesting how his name just keeps popping up in so many different characters' conversations... it's almost like Lucas was an integral part of the whole show with lots of back history and story potential all his own... |

I'm paraphrasing from Barb's summary but basically Stephanie brings Chloe a baby gift and mentions how they were almost sister-in-laws (through Philip & Lucas) and starts telling Chloe about how wonderful Nathan is compared to Philip and how much happier she is with him, etc. Chloe responds that Stephanie sounds like she did when she (Chloe) kept saying how happy she was with Lucas. Yep Chloe, Dr. Dan hasn't turned out to be anymore wonderful than Stephanie is trying to convince herself about Dr. Nate. Too bad neither of you were smart enough to appreciate the awesomeness of Kate's sons ... well, Lucas and Philip at least .... |

Lucas is coming back, I can feel it!! All these references has to mean something. I am choosing to be hopeful about this, at least until Feb. Sweeps. And have I missed something or is Sami the only person who hasn't referred to Lucas lately? Kate, Will, & Chloe all have but not Sami as far as I know. If she says something about Lucas then I will be more than 100% sure he is on his way back. |

Chloe tells her that she reminds her of herself. She used to tell everyone how happy she and Lucas were together in the same way - kind of like I was trying to convince myself. Steph knows Chloe and Lucas had problems but what she and Nathan have is completely different. Chloe and Lucas's relationship was all about rebound. Chloe was rebounding after Brady and Lucas after Sami obviously. Now she's having a baby with Phillip probably. And I have no idea what the heck Dr. Dan was all about. Chloe is just pretty much all over the place. |

There is absolutely no reason the bring up Lucas unless he's coming back. Even when they brought him back after the coma, there weren't this many mentions. No one talks about John and Marlena or Shawn and Belle. This better be where we're headed. Otherwise this show is toast. |

07/09/2010 Kate overhears Carly speaking to Chloe. She warns Carly that Chloe is no good and talks about how she cheated on Lucas with Daniel July 19 Gee, what a co-incidence. Nathan has to find new digs, as Lucas is putting the house up for sale, seems the Hong Kong thing is turning out well, & he figures he will stay with family or friends when he comes into town 07/20/2010 Off his conversation with Father Matt, Daniel comes home to Chloe and says her annulment with Lucas has been resolved. Father Matt requested for Daniel to ask Chloe why he can't marry them. Chloe blurts Father Matt thinks she's a bad person 07/26/2010 Kate, now having the only copy of Chad's real birth certificate, realizes she holds all the cards and Madeline's secret. Later, she looks at the certificate when Lucas calls. She tells her son she was just thinking about him. Philip calls Melanie, tells her he will be there in 10 minutes, has this surprise for her. She hangs up, Nathan is at the door, coming to fetch some boxes he has stored there, since he is moving out of Lucas’s Aug. 31. 2010 but Kate threatens to leave him, cuz she will not lose her grandson. Stefano threatens back about revealing her poisonous deeds. She retracts a bit, but Will is Lucas’s son, “my family” and if she loses him, Stefano will be very very sorry. Will is at the Pub, talking to his dad on the phone, filling him in on what happened, telling him that Gramma did not know a thing….and then saying Stefano didn’t either. Gramma Caroline is right behind him, mouth dropping as she chides him, “you don’t honestly believe Stefano did not know about this”. Oh, Will is sure Sept. 9 Lucas was told there was no hope for her, and to pull the plug, and yet she survived, came out of it and was fine 10 sep i love lucas no i love daniel 14 sep thinks perhaps she is fooling herself, sounding just like she did when she told everyone how happy she was with Lucas Edited by ROSELM, Monday Sep 13 2010, 06:12 PM.

Amended to add that I had just missed your write up about the call... the rest is accurate I think...thanks...we'll keep it current and add to the list whenever he mentioned again.
