Hilary, a little OT, but are Cord & Tina on OLTL right now and if so, do they have an actual storyline? They were my favorites back in the day and I'd consider dvring the show for the remainder of its tv run if they're on.

They were my favorites back in the day and I'd consider dvring the show for the remainder of its tv run if they're on. Yes, they're on, and no, they don't have a story. They did a super fast mini-reunion similar to what Days did with Shane and Kim last year. Basically, it went like this: Cord and Tina show up for separate reasons and are shocked, shocked, to see each other! Cord and Tina spend an episode recapping their past, complete with flashbacks, just in case any newer viewers don't know about her going over a waterfall or saying the wrong name at the altar. Cord and Tina almost kiss and are interrupted a couple of times. Cord and Tina have a roll in the hay in every sense of the expression at his sister's engagement party. The next morning, Cord tells Tina they will never get back together for real because she always pulls the rug out from under him. Tina opts to prove her awesomeness by giving Todd his money back (she had come into possession of it through multiple bizarre legal rulings). Meanwhile, Cord decides that the reason Tina messes up is because he doesn't have enough faith in her. He runs to tell her only to be interrupted by the news of her being all generous to Todd, and gives her one hell of a soapy kiss. That was about a week ago and we haven't seen them since. I thought it was adorable, but I don't have long-term viewer basis for comparison.

Last time they brought them back they did basically the same thing - featured them for an episode or two and then nada. btw, the wrong name at the altar thing always makes me laugh, because Cord Roberts was marrying Kate Sanders, making her briefly become Kate Roberts.

Tina and Cord were the first supercouple that I worshipped. They were so good back in the day, none of the crap that gave couples today. Oh, i miss those days.

Tina was always the bad girl who did have a heart buried deep down inside - kind of like the Sami of old. Cord was the dark eyed, dark haired good guy who couldn't resist her (and he also had a somewhat crazy controlling mother and arrived in town with paternity issues). In my world Cord Roberts of Llanview and Kate Roberts of Salem are 2nd or 3rd cousins

OLTL was able to work it out with her and she filmed all of her scenes in a short amount of time (a week or so) and was very strenuous. (Article was in last week's SOD i think) Don't know if this had anything to do with how they decided to write Cord and Tina, since they only had her for for a certain period of time.

I'm just glad they got to come back before the network finale. I thought she looked fabulous and didn't even realize she had cancer. Although it did say in the article that she was getting ripped on because people said they could tell she was wearing a wig. I couldn't tell but some people can be really mean.

I assumed it was a conscious choice by the hair department to put Tina in semi-unrealistic hair, and that they would have done their best to make it unrealistic if it WAS real.

(Back in the Tina/Cord days I bought a cabbage patch doll with long red hair that I planned to eventually give to my red headed niece. I named the doll "Andrea" after Andrea Evans cause the hair was basically the same).

Lumi Ph.D. Posts: 5,487 Group: Lumi Enthusiasts Member #133 Joined: March 24, 2006	I am loving Tina and Cord and I could see Lucas and Sami having a conversation exactly like this as well with the flashback of Tina not giving up on Cord and fighting for him and saying they belong together and love her saying your the best part of me I wish Sami would say that too Lucas as well. I would love it if Days and the writers could give us a similar conversation like this for Lucas and Sami as well for Tina and Cord do parallel our couple and this is one of things I want most for Sami is to not to give up on Lucas and to chase him and sweep him off his feet as well. What an amazing conversation and definately one our couple needs to have in the near future as well with Sami not giving up on Lucas chasing him with her sweeping him off his feet for that would be wonderful. For Sami let Lucas go too quickly last time and didn't fight for him when she should have fought for him from the start and not given up on him and kept chasing him I'm hoping Sami realises this as well that it was a mistake giving up on him and a mistake letting him go in the first place when she shouldn't have let him go at all and she winds up making up for it by not giving up on him now and winds of chasing him and keeps on chasing him and doesn't stop and romances Lucas and sweeps him off his feet and wins him over and once she does she doesn't let him go again and doesn't once she has him back in her life once more. As Sami once told Lucas and I hope she says this again their are no good things in my life without you in it for you are the love of my life,my one true love,and the destiny I believe in is you that would be really beautiful. Cord and Tina Rock.

Did Cord and Tina go to Niagra Falls and this is when she brought along a barrel and went over the falls in the barrel then great stuff. Hijinks and supercouples go hand in hand.

Hint Hint this would be super red hot for our couple as well for the last cave loving scene we got for Lumi was hot throw in a scenic waterfall with a cave that ran through it where Lumi loving happened under the water in a cave and we would be set. I need to go back and read the fanfiction waterfalls for it truly rocks.

The Kiss between Cord and Tina was smoking red hot and I loved that the shared a kiss at the end of this clip thats awesome.

I was just curious if this thread would be our OLTL thread now or our we getting a seperate thread to talk about OLTL as a whole and for all the others soaps as well so we can talk about all of them.
