It's been unseasonably warm here the past couple of days thanks to a chinook in southern Alberta. The snow is melting. It's a pleasant change from last winter - one that I find hard to believe is happening, lol. How's winter going elsewhere? |

Here where I live we haven't had snow on the ground yet just a nighttime frost but thats alright I'm not ready for winter to come yet and am fine that their is no snow on the ground as of yet for sometimes we have snow already on the ground but this year we have lucked out. I live in Iowa but as of yet no snow on the ground yet where I live. |

It's in the 60's here. We don't get any snow here ever, but I live about 30 miles or so away from Sequoia National Park and can see a lot of snow in the mountains. It's really pretty.

Weather has been all over the place. It's unseasonably warm with thunderstorms and today it's windy and cold. Watching Super Nanny. Not sure why but she cracks me up. |

It was 86 today near Houston, Texas...we have four seasons: Nearly summer, Summer, Post-summer, and 2 days of Winter, usually in February! |

My Cats get a kick out watching tv and I think its cute how they sit in front of the tv and watch the tv while I watch tv on the couch or they wind up patting my head to let me know they want attention and want me to pay attention to them and to pet them. They love their Cat DVD and Cat tv also and watch You Tube when I do and watch whatever I'm watching and love to watch tv with me and watch whatever I"m watching on my computer. |

I also plan on watching the Dog show tommorow as well I always love watching dog shows and watching the competors compete so it will be fun to watch that and the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade as well before the dog show so I plan on trying to watch both if I can. |

My kitties woke me up three times last night they were licking my face lol and i didn't get so much sleep, and it's only 6.40am here.. and they run all over the apartment right now... they're crazier than ever.. LOL

I obviously have no pets here in Iraq (unless spiders count, then I have one ), but two dogs did wander through camp today. I was down at the flight line and a mix that looked like part collie and a Siberian Husky (how the heck did he get here?!?) just wandered through. Very friendly, looked well fed. I thought maybe they belonged to one of the units out here, but why would they be loose? Weird.

My cats are always a little on the insane side (wouldn't have them any other way). Frisco, still being a kitten, loves to chew my feet, so they don't have access to my bedroom during the night. Once he outgrows that in a few more months then I'll let them in there again. In the meantime, I torture them by making them "festive" for the holidays  : Dasha  Frisco |

Someone asked about Sims. I don't play that anymore. My cats barely let me near my computer when I'm home, lol. I still play Farmville on FB, but haven't had much time to devote to it this year. I'm undecided about whether or not I'll continue in 2012. I may redo my farms over the Christmas/New Years break and set up for a long farming retirement. |

No Sims, Farmville, or pets here. My mom just arrived yesterday for a 3 week visit and I just got my first job as a nurse (starting dec 11). I miss the Macy's parade. I used to love watching it on TV. Once I tried going but it was so cold that my hands were hurting and I decided that it's better to watch from home. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!!!!!!!! |
