It would give Bryan an awesome storyline and I'm really liking KIAN so far. I like that they seem to be written as the "love of each other's lives". Yeah it's rewritten history and some of it may not make sense but I have a feeling that this might turn out to be a great story. Also look at it this way, Bo was a product of a love story between Victor and Caroline. But he is still a Brady and that hasn't changed. So even if Lucas turns out to biologically be Ian's, he would still always be considered a Horton. Anyway, whatever happens I'm looking forward to it. Bo was raised as brady while lucas was not raised as Horton That still doesn't change anything IMO. Also since you bring up the fact that he wasn't raised as a Horton, if they ever do go there and change his paternity then it would make even more sense considering that he never grew up with Bill and as far as we know, they never became that close. But on the other hand, Lucas did get to know his Grandma Alice, his Uncle Mickey, his siblings & his cousins quite well. Plus he's very close to his Aunt Maggie. I don't see how any of this has to change. I'm not saying it will but given that there are rumours out already, you never know and either way it will be interesting to see.
	Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall Sami is Lucas's girl through it all.

Kate tends to have chemistry with anyone but I'm not seeing it with Ian. I can't tell if Ian is suppose to be overly theatrical in his mannerisms or if it's just the actor's acting choices but either way it's annoying to watch.

I guess I'm immune to it now, because it doesn't bother me anymore, and at least his arms aren't flopping all around nor are his eyelids in overdrive ;). I hate all things DiMera, always have (except for Tony back in the 80's), so when given a non-DiMera choice, I'll always pick it.

I'm not seeing chemistry there but at least Ian is an unknown and not as predictable as the Dimera's.

I actually can appreciate his acting style. he is supposed to be English and the English of "good breeding" behave that way. Lol!!! But I love it. What about the twins for Kate ??? How were they brought in??? They were after Lucas. Are they both dead??? that could be a connection for Kian could it not???

I despise the character and find even Stefano more appealing and it doesn't seem like Ian's hitting it off with many other viewers either. If Joe wants to retire though, it won't matter. They may keep Ian at least long enough to reveal him as the newest newfound Dimera and have him start a new branch of the villain dynasty. If so, I don't see Lucas being his son (unless, instead of being "Tony's son", he becomes Tony himself and has to deal with a new set of relatives that are crazed killers). Right now, it seems like Ian is being set up to be the new villain leader in Salem. If that path continues, I expect that Ian will turn out not only to be an old rival of Stefano's but also a Dimera (maybe even the real Santeen spawn)... and will lead to EJ being the son of Ian (Stefano's arch-enemy). They can either play it that Ian knowingly switched out the sperm that was used to inseminate Susan or that EJ is just one of many illegitimate children he was spawned. I don't think they are going to give Kate any more children with anyone and it opens up the door for the new villain leader to have new younger villains join/replace him (as well as replacing his son EJ). If they go that route it also leaves the door open for Days to do away with both Ian and EJ, and let Stefano's true son with Susan come to terrorize Salem so that Joe can still retire when he chooses and Days can free itself from the albatross known as EJ. I don't think they are going to make EJ John's son. Even if that was the plan at one point (and I don't know that it ever was) I don't think it is anymore. There is no need to establish another reason for animosity between Stefano and John, but there is a need to establish a replacement villain set for Stefano and EJ.

Susan wasn't a slut, unless they are doing another baby switch scenario where Susan isn't really EJerk's mother. Susan was totally in love with John and only slept with Stefano because he dressed up like Elvis. And plus with EJerk having sent John to prison, it would be interesting for him to all of a sudden be his dad. Though its a tad creepy that he and Sami would be step-siblings then. I've got a feeling the show is planning some kind of redemption storyline with EJerk. He could take not being a Dimera as a chance to start over, like he said to Nicole, he saw the election as turning a corner, wanting to be a positive force in the town. For those of us who care about history, hes still a rapist. But it wouldn't be the first time the show does a turn around with a character(Jack, I was too young to really watch then but I've heard/read about it). In order to make EJole work, EJ is going to have to at least partially redeem himself because it seems Nicole isn't going to put up with him like he is. Yeah, the timeline on the Kian affair has confused me a lot too. Madison and Kate's interaction have always made it sound like the affair happened during their marriage, but the timeline doesn't fit with Kate not having seen him in 30 years. Sami is only about 34/35 (if we assume Will is around 18 and she was 16 or so when he was born). That would mean(since Madison and Sami are the same age) that Madison was 4 or 5 the last time Kian saw each other. Unless like was mentioned, its that Madison has always known Ian loved Kate and it was an affair of the heart. As far as Ian's son, I think it being Lucas is ridiculous because they've already had a Lucas's dad storyline. It could be interesting if its Austin and/or Billie. Or wasn't there a rumor that Celeste's son was his kid? He might be more in the right age bracket. I would think that there wouldn't be much of a "search for his son" if its one of Kate's kids. That would be pretty simple.
